Idk.... The atmosphere is... I like the place it's just that I don't like people staring at me while I look around... I don't like to look in my peripherals and see the owner/worker looking at me.. btw I'm the type of person who doesn't care about your political views BUT.... While you and your I'm assuming your friend talking pro trump stuff then you happen to notice me now your just staring at me, that becomes a problem cause now I feel uncomfortable. anywho good products but those 2 experiences took my view on this place from 4 stars to 3
EDIT: last time i was here the owner stan had an attitude when i asked him about Digimon decks. he said he should have all of them, well he did not! he only had 2 decks and the ones i was looking for he said he could order them if i buy half... like wth... if i wanted to buy half i can do that on my own without a middle man and inflated prices.... also cant stand it when you want to sit there and eye me the whole time while im looking at your products... if i wanted to steal anything ( im not that type of person) im sure you couldnt stop me.... smh, set up cameras if your that concerned... and i know you only do that to certain people because when other folks walked in you didnt give them the same treatment.. honestly folks dont go to this guy... i think hes prejudice. go to America's Heroes Comics & Games. atleast Earl has common sense to great & let you look without death staring you also i never seen the man being rude...
Read moreBeen years since I’ve actually shopped here, came back a few weeks ago and the guy that helped me had a bit of an attitude, i purchased anyways, thinking maybe he was just in a bit of a mood, come back today and was going to buy another pack that I “had to switch” because I told the guy the one I was getting seemed heavier then the others, so what if it seems heavier then the others and that’s the reason I want to buy it? then after the associate went and switched it for another pack, I was then told in order to use card you gotta spend $5, which of course one pack of Pokémon is just under that. If you guys just diddnt want my business just tell me. I was going to become a loyal customer and buy all my Pokémon cards from here because when I was a kid this place was awesome. Next week I was going to come back and spend a minimum of $500 on a few boxes of the next Pokémon set, however because of the lack of customer service I will gladly order online and pay for shipping then give my business to a company that’s being ran down. Do not recommend this place anymore and will make sure I tell everyone I know now not to come to this place. If you guys have rules that you can’t buy the exact product you want then make a sign for it. Otherwise you...
Read moreOkay...so I am a 45yo kid who's been reading comics and playing RPGs for the last 35 years. I think my opinion might have some merit with regards to judging the store genre.
First, the owner is present and extremely personable and helpful. His knowledge of comics and games is top notch. He's also generous both with time and resources. He'll take the time to teach you a game or parlez regarding genre current events.
The store is gamer and reader friendly. Patrons of the store have adopted the helpful, teaching persona that is fostered by the owner. Gaming members accept newer gamers with open arms and an enthusiasm that I wish our nation as a whole embraced.
The store itself is kind of crammed. Given the amount of interest in the store and the sheer variety of what is available in the store, I wish it was at least twice as large. But hey, nothing's perfect.
Overall, I find Stan and his store to be top notch and worthy of a visit from Pennsylvania from time to time---no lie.
Check him and the store out...you won't be disappointed.
