I always forget this place is here and I've been wanting to try this place for years. I'm glad I finally remembered to try them. I love pizza, and The food here is awesome! And the staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is pretty cool and nice. The restaurant looks SUPER clean!
They checked our order before we paid and they had made a wrong pizza for us. They were super upset about it and apologized more than once. It wasn't a big deal to me, at all, but they seemed to care about serving their customers. It was no big deal to wait for the pizza to be remade, but they still gave us a free piece of cheese cake for our wait.
The quality of food is superb and the customer service is what you wish every place had.
It's a New York style pizzeria. Along with pizza, we ordered their cheese bread that was insanely good. My wife ordered a Greek salad, I couldn't believe how good that thing looked. We also got a stromboli. It was absolutely fantastic.
I'll 100% be coming back to this place! On a scale of 1-5, if they had delivery drivers this would be like a 7 start pizzeria.
If you're new to town, or looking for some new York style pizza, I highly recommend giving Tony's a try!!!!
Here's how I rated it: Food - 5 stars!!!!! Customer Service - 5 stars!!!!! Cleanliness - 5 stars!!!!! Atmosphere - 4 stars!!!!
How they lost a point for atmosphere: No beer (that I saw), it's not a stand alone restaurant, and it's not very big, so not really a place you could take a large party for dinner. The style of pizzeria this is the atmosphere has no bearing on their overall rating. It's more of a lunch, or pick up and go type of place.
Overall, this is one of the best restaurants (of any cuisine) I've been to in a long time. I can't wait to try some of...
Read moreI don't eat pizza much and when I do I usually purchase from a pizza chain like Papa John or Domonioes. I am born and raised in NYC and it's hard to find that great city taste pizza 🍕 in Texas. I'm retired military and an army buddy of mine and his wife was telling me to try Tony's Pizza for that NYC style pizza. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately I went to Tony's Pizza close to their closing time on a Sunday night and he wasn't making any more slices I wanted a pepperoni slice and a veggie slice. He had a lady working with him I am assuming she was his wife or a family member. They were both very professional with quality customer service. They offered me a free cheese slice that they had prepared not long ago. I thank them but turned down the free pizza because I wanted the pepperoni and veggie. I decided I would just leave and come back on another day, but then Tony said I am going to make the two pizza slices for you. Wow! That was shocking and I really appreciated it. When I got home and took my first bite of the pizza I had NYC flashbacks. This pizza was the closest taste to New York pizza that I have ever had in Texas and I been here many years. The pizza was delicious. I highly recommend...
Read moreThat Italian lady is rude and she doesn't need to be working in the front. I came here to pick up an order and was asked 1x by the owner who I'm picking up for and I told him then she came and asked me 2x the same question. I told her clearly the name. Sherman caught an attitude and started speaking a different language to the other people that worked there then proceeded to tell me she's just making sure... ,I SAID IT 3X ALREADY!... Then when I got the order she stuck something in a bag on top of the pizza, I proceeded to pick up the pizza and the item that was in the bag slide she got loud and grabbed the item and was like if you mess up the food it's on you and she went on a rant I tune her azz out after that because I was going to cuss her out... Then as I walked out she kept on saying shyt under her breath so I turned around and said "Do what you gotta do!" Then I left. Point is y'all really need to watch out how you talk to people cause if I would have reacted how I wanted to things would have went left FOR...
