So, after reading a few reviews about the New Imperial Room in Danielson, we decided to go check it out for ourselves. It is set up modestly, but functionally comfortably. We were given time to check out the menu, make our selections and less than a half hour later, we're served our food. Let me just tell you! Crab ragoons w/duck sauce, and pan fried dumplings w/garlic sauce were to die for! The crunch of the ragoons w/ the flavorful, creamy crab filling, and the delicious dumplings, meat filling inside moist noodle dumpling, w/pan sear--were off the charts! A hot sweet n sour soup, I was told, was light broth-not heavy & sticky, as some can be, the ingredients were finely chopped and carried an excellent flavor.
The main dishes were Hunan Double Delight & Gai Poo Lo Mein. First impression : aye, yi, yi! The portions were huge! Definitely more bang for your buck! Each bite gave us a flavor explosion in our mouths! Each ingredient stacked, or layered immense flavors, make you ultimately groan, for how good it tastes!

Read moreI took my husband here for his birthday. He loves Chinese food . My first impression walking in was very pleasing, clean , nice atmosphere . We were welcomed by the family which was very nice and the waitress Ella was beyond amazing . Greeted us as well as pushing my chair in …. Nice touch:) My husband loves dumplings and he said they were delicous! I absolutely loved the ginger sauce that was given w them. I could put it on everything . I ordered a combo plate c22 and it was a huge portion. Most importantly delicous. They were very accommodating to exchange crab Rangoon for chicken fingers and they too were the best I had , they were cooked perfectly and actually had chicken in them:) The duck sauce I thought was tasty. My husband got c21 and he thought it was excellent ! The only criticism he had being a Chinese food connoisseur is that the crab rangoons were cooked perfect but they could have a little more crab meat in them .. so we give them 4.7 stars ⭐️ . Ella the waitress made the entire experience a 5 ! Keep up the good work, I’m sure you guys...
Read moreI had heard great things about this place. Decided to try it out on Xmas so I was anticipating it to potentially be a little busy. Inside ambiance lacked a bit, staff was very kind but was disorganized- which I assume was just due to the holiday with what appeared to be 2-3 servers on staff. Food wasn’t great, the sweet potato roll was the highlight of the evening. The spring roll was very greasy. Husband ordered General Tso’s chicken which he said was slimy under the batter and didn’t look cooked enough. Fried rice was ok. Garden salad was ok, would have enjoyed if it came with carrots and cucumbers, not just tomato. House dressing was a bit too sweet for me, but that’s just my personal opinion. Veggie Pad Thai was extremely liquidy which in my personal opinion/ taste is something I don’t enjoy, flavor was ok. Once they get approved for their liquor license it could elevate the restaurant/experience. Most likely will not be back to give it another go-around but I always recommend anyone to go and try it out...
