VapeTek Inc — Local services in Killingly

I like Vapetek. They're friendly and knowledgeable, and they're always helping someone out whenever I go there.

Their prices are very fair for a B&M, unlike s lot of other shops. Comparable to online prices if you include the shipping costs. You can also see more than two feet in front of you, unlike other vape shops :)

They're cool about returns too. I bought a Triton tank from them based on all the hype but I brought it back and they were genuinely interested in hearing about what I thought were the major drawbacks. They let me swap it for a Sense Herakles and I couldn't be happier.

Only drawback is that I never have enough money for all the cool stuff they stock. And that they're not open Monday thru Wednesday, but everyone needs time off! It was probably a choice between closing on the least busy days of the week, or closing on the weekend so I get that.

Overall, a great place. Very laid back and no-pressure type of establishment. Lots of mods and tanks to choose from and plenty of juice lines, including house blends which are priced fairly.

One review here mentioned that they had bought replacement coils which "tasted awful." I don't see how that's the shop's fault; they only sell genuine products. I've bought all my coils from Vapetek, for the Atlantis, Arctic, Subtank and Herakles and I've never had an issue. Sounds like user error, to me. Or he had some funky juice. Either way...

If you look under 30 prepare to be treated like a moron who doesnt know what theyre doing. A good portion of the customers who hang at the bar will find reasons to rag on you and the shop owner will never remeber your face. Been in their countless times and got carded every time by the same guy. The owner will also stop helping you to help a regular and you better not say that your friend isnt buying anything so theres no need to card or he’ll threaten to not sell anything to you. They wont touch your vape cause they think swat will bust down the door if they do. Overall terrible selection if your into quality vape products and their juice is marked up. Its worth the drive to Graffitti in moosup, a shop that cares about the vape community and not just the profit. Would not recommend this...

Decent store for hardware if you know what you want. A tad overpriced but they do have a storefront to pay for so that's perfectly acceptable.

Unfortunately their juice selection leaves much to be desired. It's rather limited and, worse, the staff doesn't spend time clearing off samples of juices they don't carry anymore or which they are sold out of. As a result you can waste good time finding a juice you like only to find out they don't even have it, forcing you to begin all over again.

Overall I'm think I'll stay with online vendors and only buy from VapeTek in an emergency.

EDIT: Was told they are now open on Mondays so drove down just after noon to buy some coils only to find door was locked and no one there. Bad way to...
