I have lived in this town my whole life, always have enjoyed the library and even worked there for a year when I was young. I recently went in to sign my daughter up for a library card to help with summer experiences and reading. I was extremely upset when I was told by the librarian that my 5 year old had to be the one to write out her information for the card and it had to be legible. I questioned this and her response was that it was policy. Luckily I was able to get my daughter to do it so we were able to get the card, but this policy may need to be revisited, I can’t make any sense of why the parent can’t write their information down.

Read moreI moved to Killingly a couple of years ago and finally got around to signing up for a library card a few months ago. The process was easy and the librarians are always kind and helpful. It's easy to search for books on their website and easy to order a book from another location for pick-up at the Killingly library. You can also check the status of your book on their website and they let you know when it's ready for pickup. I do wish there were more clubs and activities for adults in the late afternoon so I could actually attend them, but maybe that will occur in the future! (A knitting/crochet club...
Read moreI have been coming here for almost a decade now. It is very nice and clean and quiet there. Plenty of room to sit or look for the books and movies you choose. Over the decade of coming here the Men's RestRoom lock has not ever been fixed or looked at, it is broken and does not lock at all and it is a big privacy issue, it surely needs to be attended to ASAP.
