I bought a pair of boots that was told was a new line they were carrying and at a cost of $100 they aren't cheap. I have owned them only 7 months and wear them only at work as they stay in my locker and never go home and after only 7 months the first 4 loops that hold the laces have snapped making them not only unbearable but a safety hazard. I called about a warranty on them but was told to come back in with them next week. I need safe boots for work and have had $40 Wal-Mart boots hold up longer. I am not very happy with the service as I expected them to say yes we will replace them 7 months is a bit ridiculous for a life of a boot. My first and only experience buying something at Danielson Surplus, but they have a customer for life! I can see why they've been open so long! I dealt directly with the owner who took the time to explain the differences between the 2 boots I was looking at for my son. Warren even had the patience of a saint as I had to call my son, then wait for a call back, to verify his boot size! No pressure up-sell on weatherproofing. I had to ask about it first. You don't get this kind of service ANYWHERE else except small, local businesses; thank goodness I live in a part of CT where they are plentiful in the town's around...
