Located on the top floor of the Gerardi's Insurance Building of Danielson Connecticut, is a treasure trove of delight to adults and children. The eight rooms are filled with each their own specific genre. It includes a downstairs area with two rooms for children's and teachers aides books. You may also find a DVD you've been looking for. As you browse around the rooms and pick your selections you will find a room dedicated for coffee, tea, and maybe a little something to munch on all for a small donation. I love this book store and every time I come to Danielson I make a point to stop in when they are open. Read moreI had seen this bookstore before and was excited at the chance to check it out. Person that walked in before me got a hello, person after me got a hello, no greeting to me. I assumed they were regulars or they just didn’t always say anything. Looked around a bit and walked toward the romance section which is mostly older romance books and heard the conversation of all three at the register go from regular talking to whispering and looking at me and continued whisper about “blame it on…”. It was very obvious I was being spoken about. Not sure if my colorful hair or my shirt bothered them but it made me feel very unwelcome.
