Upon checking in at my first night of the Killington Grand Resort, I sent my daughter down to inquire about dining at the resorts, main restaurant Preston’s. Our family travels often so she’s pretty astute when it comes to figuring out how to make a reservation, how a call ahead works, or when / how to get on the waiting list if need be. Tracy at the hostess stand told her that there is availability now, but there might be a wait later. And that was all the information she gave my daughter. So we went to our room, put our things away, showered and went down to Preston’s for dinner. Tracy is extremely curt and tells us it’ll be a minimum of an hour and a half wait. And that we cannot place a to go order because there is a wait. But she would put us on a list for dinner that would take an hour and a half. I asked her why didn’t she mention getting our name on a waitlist when my daughter came down about an hour and a half ago. And she said that she didn’t do things like that. She also became extremely adversarial and vague when I tried to inquire about future dining at Preston’s. I thought it very unusual that they would have somebody like Tracy working the hostess stand at Prestons, which is the main dining restaurant for Killington Grand Resort given her ugly demeanor and lack of willingness to help you plan future dinners at Preston’s. When she said she would seat us we stood there for another 10 minutes wondering what was going on. Finally, when I asked her if we were going to be seated? Her reply was “well you look like you were having a conversation, so I left you alone“. Usually a resort will put someone with excellent customer service at the hostess stand of their main dining room. Tracy is definitely a black eye on the resort in my opinion. The food was JUST okay. BTW the same menu is offered across the street at The Clubhouse. And there are happy to have you...

We were recommended to eat here from a local. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. The menu very much over priced. The service was the worst I have received in awhile. The waitress was rude. We had to call her to the table 3 times to refill water. She said she would be right back with a carafe of water and appeared 20 minutes later with no water. The food was just average. The serving sizes are small for the entree salad I ordered. It was a spinach salsa but the dressing was bitter. Sent it back but by the time the waitress came back to take my replacement order, my family was already done eating. After sending the salad back, I was still charged for the entree. My daughters pasta had a very small serving of pasta served in a bread bowl. More bread than pasta. My son enjoyed his burger and the hand made chips served along side. My husbands grilled cheese was cold. I would not recommend eating here. If I could give them less than 1 star I would have. Very disappointed all...

I don’t even know what happened. First, the menu only had one page of food, and like 5 choices. I got the macaroni & cheese, it was very disappointing. It had the right amount of cheese but not the best choice of cheese. My Step father got the chicken wrap. It was absolutely disgusting, i cant even explain how gross it was. My mother didn’t even bother trying to get anything off the menu, she just ordered off of the children’s menu. We all also got a side of fries. should i point out that they are supposed to be seasoned? Well the “seasoned” fries were quite unseasoned. I had to add like a pound of salt to make it taste better. The only thing that tasted decent were the fries. We were gonna leave before we even ordered because the prices were sky rocketing. I kinda wish we left before. Even though all of that happened, the server was pretty nice about it, we still paid full price but i will definitely NEVER come...

The food was excellent. We ate here two nights in a row during our stay at the lodge. Ordered burgers on the first night and ordered the New York Steak the second. Both were cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the time it took to get our food. The first night we arrived right after open and waited a good deal of time on our burgers while others that came in after us received their food. The second night we arrived an hour before closing. I think it had been hectic and again the server apologized for our wait, but I think the kitchen was really behind and I was really getting hangry after a long day racing.

Awesome stop into the restaurant bar for a drink with group of family members. Arrived at the restaurant looking for drinks and dessert. We were told good on drinks but no dessert until 5pm. After a round of drinks we were told that the bartender would get us dessert. Thanks Kat! She was a joy and took care of all of us. Be sure to see her when you are next at Preston’s. Great view of Snowshed and the heated outdoor pool. Great drinks mixed by Kat. Thanks again. We will be back for sure when there is snow on the ground in 6 months.

Brussels sprouts were disappointing. No flavor and barely any bacon. I did not taste the glaze or any flavoring. The fountain sodas were flat. The Mac and cheese was flavorless. The only good thing were the potatoes but even those came out dry. They were out of a lot of things from the menu. The staff seem confused what was available on the menu. Really expensive place with little taste. Would not recommend this place.
