BEWARE! I was just passing through Kingman, and looked for the highest rated Mexican restaurant. I was excited to find this place. Because of Covid, and the fact that we had valuables and our two dogs in the car, we ordered take out. The older lady who helped me (who I believe might be the owner) was very nice. Lunch for two with tip set us back about $35 total. When I got back to the car I doubled checked everything and noticed that the to-go drinks they gave me were in small soup cups, not regular-sized drink cups. I went back in to see if I could get the drinks in regular drink cups considering I paid 2.75 per drink. An older man named Ricardo was at the host stand when I went back in. I explained the situation to him and asked him if he could give us bigger sizes in regular drink cups, and he flat out said "no, that's all we have." I asked if there was a chance that he could just give us two more small cups due to how much money we'd just paid for them, and I mentioned that if we'd sat inside we'd have gotten free refills. He responded, "you're not sitting inside." I explained to him that we had two dogs and valuables in the car...no response. I asked one more time if he could just help us out, and he said if we paid for two more drinks he'd give us two more small soup cups of soda. After that I gave up. On top of all this, they overcharged my credit card by $3.43! (I noticed this on my bank app) I would recommend you stay far away from this restaurant. The food ended up being bland and inauthentic and the customer service was appalling.

I would give it a 5 but its hard to be perfect. Social distancing and Covid practices were handled exceptionally well. EVERYONE was nice including our server. I had never heard of Machaca and she helped me pronounce it. We got our house Margaritas right away. The chips and salsa were served as well as some refried beans which was different and very yummy. I ordered the Machaca Chimichanga and My husband had Pork Chile Colorado Enchilada. The portions were huge, I took half of mine home but my husband cleaned his plate. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. My husband did say he would have ordered without the yellow cheddar, but it was still exceptional. We enjoyed it and will go back if we ever stop through again.

Our server was friendly and kind. We visited from the northeast coast, and wanted an authentic Mexican dining experience. The restaurant is in a beautiful historic building that is brightened up with a cheerful color palette. The hand made chips, salsa, and bean dips were so delicious that we could’ve just eaten that. The avocados on the salad and in the guacamole were perfectly ripe, soft, and tasty. The red sauce is sweet and savory- exactly what I was hoping for when I added it to my enchilada order. The 6 of us visitors loved everything we tried, and got wonderful service from a very attentive and sweet server. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice meal while stopping in Kingman.

VERY RUDE EXPERIENCE! We attempted to eat here on our way to the grand canyon after reading several positive reviews. It was 8:15 pm and the website said they closed at 9 pm. After driving all day we were so hungry and looking forward to trying this place. We parked outside and before we even got to the front door one of the waitresses sternly waved at us through the front window making the cut-off head gesture. The door was locked yet the lights were on and there were guests dining inside. We found this to be so rude and insulting. She could have at least opened the door and explained that they closed early that night. After that experience, we won't go back. Not a nice impression and obviously they don't need the business. After that, we went to OYSTERS Restaurant in Kingman down the road and were greeted with a smile and escorted to a lovely table where they were happy to serve us. The food was the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. I would highly recommend OYSTERS to anyone. So, in the end, we were happy that we went somewhere else. If you haven't tried OYSTERS restaurant in Kingman you must go there instead. The food and hospitality were exceptional at OYSTERS. Go there instead...

Terrible service and rude/unprofessional waiter!!! Went with a group of friends and he pressured us in to ordering 2 pitchers of margaritas when we asked for one. Afterwards, When we asked for the price of the margaritas he told us $32 per pitcher! So $64 total. The price for a margarita pitcher was not listed anywhere. when we asked to see it, they said they didn’t have it on their menu. $32 is an absurd price to begin with even if this was a nice restaurant. the margarita mix was very poor quality. We went up to him, speaking to him in a professional manner and explained that we did not want a second pitcher (we did not drink any from the one he brought) and that we should not be charged for it. He responded in an aggressive manner and said, “I didn’t put a gun to your head to make you order the second pitcher of margarita.” While making a gun with fingers. Completely inappropriate!!! This is no way to ever treat paying customers and I was very disappointed with this place. AVOID this place at...
