We ate here twice while in Kingman. You could not ask for friendlier staff! Day one I ordered a calzone with green bell peppers, red onions, and light pepperoni. The calzone was a generous portion, good for two meals for me. The calzone smelled divine , but best of all was the taste! Delicious, mouth watering, and flavorful, are just three words to describe just how astoundingly good this calzone was. They provide a small container of first rate marinara to go with the calzone. I would 100% order it again. My husband got the daily special. Home made smoked chicken pot pie. The crust first of all was perfection. The inside of the pot pie contained generous amounts of chicken and yummy vegetables. A+! Day two we ordered a pizza. They use a brick oven. The pizza we ordered was half pepperoni and half Italian sausage. The crust was crazy good! Not burnt and not soggy. Loads of cheese and meat made this one of the best pizzas we have ever had! I will be posting lots of pictures next. See for yourself how great this place is!

I recently visited Floyd and Company Real Pit BBQ, and unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. While the staff was very nice and welcoming, the food itself was a major disappointment. As someone from Tennessee, I was particularly excited to try the TN BBQ on the menu. However, the pulled pork and smoked chicken were both dry and lacked any real flavor. The mac and cheese was also disappointing, as it seemed to be store-bought rather than homemade. While I appreciate the effort to bring authentic BBQ to the area, Floyd and Company fell short of my expectations. As someone who has had some of the best BBQ across the country, including in Memphis which is known for its BBQ, this did not do justice to the reputation of great BBQ. In conclusion, while the staff at Floyd and Company Real Pit BBQ was welcoming and friendly, the food did not live up to the expectations set by their claim to be real BBQ. If you're looking for authentic and flavorful BBQ, this may not be the spot for you.

We were driving from Pasadena to Albuquerque, and stopped for the night in Kingman AZ. We were delighted to discover FLOYD & CO. REAL PIT BBQ. It’s on East Beale Street in the middle of the town’s Historic District. Having missed lunch, I was pretty hungry and ordered a Full Rack of St. Louis Ribs with Cole Slaw and Baked Beans, and my wife ordered the Pulled Beef Sammich with Cole Slaw and a side of Beer Battered Onion Rings. The ribs – Wow! – were super tender, juicy, and falling-off-the-bone. Great BBQ sauce, too. The pulled beef brisket sandwich was also really tasty, and the onion rings were nice and crispy. The friendly owner/manager Tamy was busy hovering around the tables to make sure everything was great, and for us, it certainly was. Great taste, great prices, quick service. Nice “homey” atmosphere as well. Highly recommended.

One star to balance out all the liars writing 5 star reviews. This is the only BBQ joint in town. What this place needs is some competition. Someone needs to open another BBQ shop in this town and force Floyd to start competing again. They have gotten complacent.

The 5 star reviews here just demonstrate that these people have no idea what good BBQ tastes like.

The meat here is flavorless and astonishingly dry. It doesn't even have any recognizable smoke flavor. This BBQ joint is so bad I would recommend big BBQ chains like Sonny's BBQ over it, and that is embarrassing.

The BBQ sauce isn't good either. You have to use it though, because it's the only viable route to get that dry like the Mohave meat into your stomach. If you do eat here the one decent thing is the okra. However, that's a pathetic endorsement when fried okra is nearly impossible to ruin.

I hope they read this review and step up their game because they claim to be from Tennessee. If that is the case, then they should be embarrassed, because they should know what good BBQ tastes like. Shame on you.

Let me end on a positive note. All of the employees here have been nothing short of phenomenal, friendly, and helpful. They are wonderful, and have never...

Went for the first Friday celebration and stopped here beforehand. Got the pik a pak family meal with the brisket. Was about $70 which I was happy to pay assuming that it would be enough to feed 5 people as it included 8 buns, a pound of meat, 2 sides and a 2 ltr. The brisket was extremely dry and flavorless. The bbq sauce on the table was unbearably sweet. The beans were very mushy and thick and coleslaw was average. Ended up putting the coleslaw on the sandwich to add some moisture as the bread was very dry as well. After reading other reviews I realize I should have found a manager to bring attention to the matter but all I saw were a host of teenagers. I’m not one to complain, I’ve spent years in the food service industry myself and understand the hardships. Unfortunately my experience here was so lack luster and unappealing I felt it necessary to comment. I love to come and support local businesses but upon reading the reviews it’s obvious that there are ongoing issues with the lack of flavor and portion sizes that are not being addressed. I hope to return one day and have a...
