So I just went to the Taco Bell located on Andy Devine. So my total came up to $20.53. I normally don't look at my receipts but I did today. When when my total should have been $18.53. I called and let them know that there's an extra two dollars showing on my bill. That I was over charged $2. Whoever answered the phone( which I believe is the manager because when I went back the same man i talked on the phone had the same accent and sounded just like the one when I arrived at the window) said oh only $2. Wow . Is this what we're doing now Taco Bell . We're overcharging and letting people know that it's only 2 dollars if they overcharge you. First of all, that was rude.Secondly, it's my $2.Just imagine how many people they do this to on a daily. I said that's okay. It's not your fault. It's obviously your system is adding extra money for no reason.I'll come get my two dollars. So I pull up and he proceeds to argue me and say it's the tax sales.I said do the math on your calculator. . He proceeds to tell me that it's $1.71. Over Which was the tax . Let's go back a little bit . .He said when he looked at the receipt. It was the tax that was added.I said no, it's not.Already added the tax. I said you are incorrect.I did the math on my phone I showed him the math on my phone and he said OK, I'll just give you the $2.Gave it to me and shut the window. I have to say I am disgusted by the manager's attitude. The way he handled everything, claiming. It's only two dollars . I'm putting this out there so others can be aware when purchasing at this particular Taco Bell. ( not sure about the others ) There was 2 invisible dollars that I got charged for that did not show on the receipt except for the total was incorrect. Imagine how many people this happens to ana daily. This has also happened to me at dollar general on Andy Devine as well , just one block from Thompson St. I will not go back to the Taco Bell due to the manager's bad bad bad attitude. Never apologizing that this happened or reassuring me that he would check into it. ..... Just I was wrong at first in his eyes. And then I'll just give you two dollars and shut the...
Read moreThe young lady at the counter was friendly and efficient. A bright spot in my day 🙂. I am so sorry I forgot her name. Food was as expected & tasted good. My only issue is the changes made to what you can get & how. I know all the fast food restaurants have made a lot of changes. At Taco Bell I miss the latitude you used to be able to get with tacos especially, but burritos too. Love getting the family pack of tacos, or even the taco/burrito pack. But if you want crunchy tacos, you can no longer get upgraded versions, at least in the pack. At least you still get a dozen. But the burrito/taco pack only comes with 4 each now, not 6 like in the past. Admittedly, I haven't ordered the burrito/taco pack in some time, so I don't know how long it's been this way. What I do enjoy is being able to count on the standard menu items always tasting the same. Plus the fact I don't have to worry about cross contamination from avocado/guacamole like I do at del taco. Important when you have severe allergic...
Read moreIt’s fast food. What else can I say?Besides the obvious, in which, I believe, is common knowledge. *They took away the Taco Bell Chihuahua Dog commercials over false accusations. *they changed the Pizzaz Pizza name. *some dishes are too elaborate. When the cheese and beans get cold and the taco gets soggy it’s gross even if you reheat it. *it’s missing it’s flair and appeal more every year. *flavor changes due to ingredient switching such as artificial ‘Only God Knows what that is from all natural lard. My final example which, btw, isn’t the sum of reasons. There are many more. If they went back to the old days 70’s and 80’s. They’d go to number one. This includes the prices. TB always was the poor man meal for cheap. Like Tao tacos and a drink for about a $3. Awesome price , delicious, and happy. One more thing. More cheese please! That’s my take on it. We all have eaten there a thousand...
