Resident here in Kings Mountain. I've had great experiences for 3 years up until about the beginning of COVID. I never waited more than 5 or 7 minutes in the drive thru. The last 3 times have each been over 20 minutes, the second of which was over 30. Obviously, people either left or got let go when COVID hit and it's really showing. Here's hoping they come back up to full strength soon... I'm hoping as well as the other 8 people in line in front of me, and 4 behind me.
Edit: I've seen 5 cars leave in the last 20 mins. They could have ordered about $10 each. That's $150/hr you're losing, or about $1500 in a 10 hr shift. You could hire a few extra peeps for that 😉
Edit and addition: I love submitting a mobile order at 8:42pm, arriving at the restaurant at 8:45, sitting in line idling for 20 mins, then being told they close at 9pm and my mobile order doesn't exist. Does great things for my peace of mind and...
Read moreWendy's is one my favorite fast food places. They always have really good service. Rarely ever get orders wrong. Which is important to me. I eat my sandwiches plain. I can't eat vegetables. I'll take it back if it's wrong. I ordered a plain spicy chicken sandwich and 2 plain Dave's Singles. Everything was plain as i asked. I really love the spicy chicken sandwich. It's the best chicken sandwich from a burger place you can get. Take it for what it is. Of course it isn't Chic Fil A. Because all they make is Chicken. Also Wendy's is my favorite Fast Food burger it's not even close. I also appreciate you can actually eat here instead of in your car. Can't do that at Burger King or McDonald's here. Everyone was wearing Masks and they socially distance tables as well. Also they make the best nuggets as far as burger places to. And I love the Frosty. Anyone can make a milkshake. But this is...
Read moreWhat a surprisingly great experience! Too often in today’s busy world customer service and attention to detail are overlooked. Not at Wendy’s in Kings Mountain. I am not ordinarily a fast food customer but after traveling in a car 5 hrs and attending a funeral, I was starving. As I approached the door, a young man held the door for me, I then noticed the clean interior of the restaurant, while waiting to order I see a John 3:16 plaque by the front counter and the smiling face of Javard (sp) who took our order, as I sat devouring my delicious sandwich, I got to watch Fox News. The whole experience reminded me of a Twilight episode. I can not say enough great things about this restaurant. Thank you to the Owners, management, and staff for being first class and on point. I wish I lived closer to this location,...
