Burger King — Restaurant in Kingston

This is probably the worst Burger King in the area. Let me tell you about my experience working as a Doordash driver. I got two orders sent to me for this place. I walked in and heard two employees arguing loudly about who is working harder. I told them the orders that I was here for. I was told it would be a few minutes. I said, "Okay, no rush" then I went to the bathroom. I came out and there was this large manager standing at the end of the hallway staring at me menacingly. I cautiously walked past him and he barks "The lobby is closed." I said "The door was open." "It's closed anyway. You'll have to go through the Drive-Thru." Now keep in mind that Doordash orders are already paid for. There's absolutely no reason why he couldn't just hand me the orders other than petulance and laziness. I wasn't complaining or giving his workers a hard time. I was patiently waiting like I always do. I went out to my car and unassigned the orders. I was not about to wait 30 minutes in their drive thru just because the manager wanted to flex on a delivery driver. Let them deliver their own food and see how...

First thing is that no one ever greets the customer. Not the drive thru order taker, young man who took my payment, or young woman who gave me my order. The customer shouldnt have to be the one to greet you, you should be greeting the customer immediately, and not just "can i help you", "can i take your order" etc. More like, "Thank you for choosing Burger King, may i take your order?"or "Hi welcome to Burger King how can i help you today?" Same at the window. "Hi how are you today? That'll be $$$. Here's your order have a great day". Thats not what you get at this location. The employees dont seem to care about actual customer service. If you dont like your job then get a different one. You dont deserve $15/hr at those jobs. And if thats the only jobs you can get, make some life changes and change your situation to get better jobs, your not simply entitled to that wage or a hand out of better jobs. You have to work for it and earn it. Very disgraceful at...

This burger king is the worst and that is coming from a former manager at a different Burger king location. The staff always has an attitude, the cashiers cant even make simple change correctly, they dont even follow the proper burger king restaurant flow ans when you ask for something fresh (off the broiler is the correct term) the attitude and the stares get even worse. Even from the general manager. The staff is always dressed sloppy and looks nasty/dirty and this has nothing to do with hair or weight because there are other burger kings with plus size workers that dont look like they just rolled out of bed, didn't shower and cant afford a decent pair of black slacks.
