Well, I can certainly see why Wendy's always has a line wrapped around their restaurant. It's really a shame as good as Burger King's food can be for fast food, that this is such a terrible store, I went to get breakfast there, as a general rule I don't eat powdered eggs, or the liquid eggs, just don't like them. So I ordered a bacon croissant, and asked to add lettuce and tomato, much to my surprise I was very rudely told that they don't serve lettuce and tomato in the morning. So I got just a croissant, but my thoughts were like "what" I mean like you have lettuce and tomato right? I mean I wouldn't want you to go out of your way and put a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce on that sandwich. Please don't over do yourself there. So, today I was like ok one more chance at Burger King, So from the 2 for $4 mix and match menu, I ordered one bacon croissant no egg no cheese, and one sausage croissant no cheese no egg. The total was $6 and some change. I asked why it was not $4 plus tax and was told of each and every menu item that is on the special and since I didn't want the egg and cheese it wasn't included in the special. So since I don't want the egg and the cheese, I am going to pay more? And god forbid, I didn't even mention any lettuce and tomato, that's a big no no at Burger King. In my opinion that was about trifling as can be. And just piss poor customer service, I mean really it only takes common sense, ut obviously this Burger King is fresh out of that! What happen to "HAVE IT YOUR WAY" "COOKED TO ORDER" This will with no doubt be the next Burger King to be shut down, and I...
Read moreMy experience began at the drive-thru, where a seemingly disinterested staff member took my order for an Impossible Sandwich. The tone of her response when I inquired about salads - not realizing they were not on the menu - was disappointingly curt and impolite.
Upon reaching the window, I handed over my payment only to be informed that my sandwich would need to be freshly prepared. Caught on my lunch break, I had to navigate my vehicle around the oddly-structured drive-thru while waiting for my order.
During the wait, I realized I required some BBQ sauce. Aware that it might come at a cost since I hadn't ordered nuggets, I decided to step inside to request it. Upon reaching the counter, I was met with silence and unpleasant glares from multiple employees. Only one staff member acknowledged my presence, informing me that she would attend to me shortly as she was occupied with two pending orders. When I mentioned that one of those orders was mine, she finally paid me some attention. She then informed me that the BBQ sauce would cost an additional $0.32. It made me wish I could bill them for the time I lost waiting, which made me late for work.
When I finally returned to work and opened my meal, I found that the bun was burnt, the cheese was sloppily folded, and despite the wait to freshly prepare my sandwich, the fries were far from fresh. I received no feedback from my fellow staff for whom I picked up the other sandwich so I gave them two stars for at least making that...
Read moreI am actually reporting this Burger King to the BBB. Before I give my review I will say this, the serving of the food was nasty, the lady who barely would move had every piece of meat and cheese touch the microwave cord and the wattage tag that hangs off of it. I told them they should move it after waiting more than 15 minutes waiting for my two breakfast sandwiches. I walked in and stood in line watching the staff talking to each other instead of doing their work. After acknowledging me they asked what I wanted. I told them and they tried to figure out who didn't do what. As I waited another 12 minutes I asked where my food was and with an attitude she said everything had to be cooked at 9:00 am for a sausage and egg biscuit and hash rounds. Now, another 5 minutes passed and they handed me my order as I watched them pull the hash rounds out that had been sitting there the 22 minutes inside, after saying everything had to be made fresh. After they were cooked my wife and I left. We pulled out the biscuits and started to attempt to eat them and the biscuits were super crunchy and old.
I drove to the Vernon Burger King after not being able to eat our food and ordered the same thing and less than a minute after paying at the first window we had a decent meal.
Do not eat at the Heritage Burger King....
