This will probably be my last take out order! After, this last mediocre experience. We been eating here quite regular for 2yrs. This time the food was just basic. The bulgogi was dry, the meat was shavings, very FEW whole pieces. The brown rice was NASTY-it was sticky but still crunchy(under cooked)! I've had better brown "minute rice." I ordered the Snow White & Goldsboro roll. Both looked like they had been made earlier in the day; they fell apart when picked up with my chop sticks!! I couldn't even dip it in my soy sauce!!😡 The chicken bowl was good as usual, but they FORGOT MY YUM YUM SAUCE!! We spent $107, to be disappointed! Not too mention the new Toast online ordering system was a PITA!! THE ADDED FEATURE IS A "TIP OPTION!" We TIP great when we dine in, but for someone to bag my food...COME 'ON! My cold salad was placed on top of my hot rice bowls. The Mac n Chz was HOT & PLACED ON TOP OF MY SUSHI!! So, clearly she didn't care how it was bagged & left out my Son's favorite, the white sauce!! So, no I don't TIP online, maybe when I pick it up if everything is right and they are nice!! Too much pressure to tip for doing their job, when that's not even done correctly!! Do BETTER folks! Also, we eat at the lil small stores Jay owns in Mt. Olive & Greenville!! So, we know how it should be done & how it is supposed to taste!! Mac & Chz was very good; the noodles could've had a pinch of salt in the boiling water. Then, it would've...

-Food was good but definitely over priced compared to when Jay's had Sumo in Goldsboro. Same items, 40% more expensive.

-Server Kaitlyn started out really sweet but when we noticed our bill was higher, she had a problem with that. She told us the special for $22 and we ordered that plus a chicken hibachi bowl. She said they didnt have that so I pointed to it on the menu and she restated they dont serve the chicken hibachi. I got something similar and everything was fine.

When our bill came each of our meals was $2 more. Both meals came with a soup or salad. She said the soup we got was extra. I told her she didnt tell us that (there was only two options for soup) and she said she didnt know it was more. Obviously she did know because she told us when we asked why the bill was more. I told her that she didnt tell us about the upcharge and it's not stated on the menu. She said it was only a few bucks. I said I wanted it taken off. She literally said, I dont think it's that big of a deal but fine. When she came back she put the new check on the table and walked away. I dont know why she got so mad, maybe because she made a mistake, but it totally ruined everything. It doesnt matter if $4 is a lot to you, it could be a lot to someone else. Overall, dont plan on ever recommending...

Went here at the end of May and the food was good but service was absolutely terrible. My family and I came here simply to get a drink and light appetizer. upon entering we received stares making us feel unwanted and uncomfortable in the establishment, the host reminded us twice of there closing time despite there being a house full of people who were still eating and socializing as well as a full bar, we had arrived 45 minutes before closing thinking we could grab a quick drink without it being an issue . The server we had showed no hospitality or customer service what’s so ever and was rude when bringing our drinks and food. She slammed the drinks on the table in front of us and placed the appetizer on the edge of the table where I had to move the appetizer plates in front of us for it not to fall. As we were eating they began shutting things down and cleaning with products that were not appeasing while trying to eat and enjoy a drink. We felt rushed while spending money in an establishment that showed us no courtesy. The way we were treated was nothing I’d expect from a restaurant that thrives on customer satisfaction. I couldn’t imagine coming back to a place I felt...

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Started with a wait of 15 minutes for a restaurant that was barely half full. The host was seating, bussing, and running food all at once. There were maybe two servers on the entire floor and almost every unoccupied table was still dirty with dishes on them. All employees were polite despite the restaurant being clearly understaffed. My two specific gripes were every single piece of my sushi roll fell apart when picked up, any I mean EVERY one. And my fatty tuna was served with a hair on it. Other than that, the food was subpar and unimpressive. I’ve had similar experiences at the locations in Goldsboro but after this, I had to make this review because it’s ridiculous now.

My first and last time getting food from this establishment. I am a real foodie and didn’t feel like cooking tonight. I am visiting family and I wish I would have eaten at home. The Mac was too salty. The calamari really didn’t taste like it and it is one of my favorite things to eat. The egg rolls, no thank you. The beef bulgogi was for another family member and they said it was disappointing but we did live in Korea for some years, so it doesn’t compare. The owner may want to review the menu. Proof I was there and spent too much to be disappointed. See my receipt below.
