The Barrister Irish Pub — Restaurant in Kinston

We hosted my 10th Class Reunion at the Barrister in Kinston. I planned it (with help from friends) from 12 hours away. Vanessa was a phenomenal point person. She had great ideas to make the night special, signature drink, outdoor games, and she secured a delcious food truck for our event. Paige and Cody were A+ bar tenders, kind and lovely mixologists. This is best bar I've been to in Kinston, NC. Milton regularly checked in, asking how he could help us and had a solution for every request. Milton clearly has a passion for the culture he creates in the area and serving his community well. Things couldn't have gone more smooth thanks to this phenomenal crew, gorgeous venue, and great service. The venue itself is fantastic. The inside is a beautifully restored historic building and the back has a lights strung throughout the fenced in area with picnic tables and a stage. The Barrister Irish Pub in Kinston, NC will stay at the top of my list for event hosting and should be at the top of yours too. I look forward to attending one of their events they host next time I'm in town!

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a gem here in Kinston. The atmosphere is wonderful, the bartenders are sweet as the cocktails they make. The bar itself is beautiful, it has an old world feel. They serve top shelf spirits. A lot of Buffalo Trace labels! It's my favorite place to hang out now.
