Best Chinese food in town. I'm from So Cal, and love Chinese food, I've been to every Chinese place in town, and followed recommendations but this place is the best. I'm actually torn between not wanting to share my favorite little spot, and supporting business, but I won't be selfish. Try the Singapore Noodles. Trust me. UPDATE: As of weds, June 1, 2022... I'm still instinctively reluctant to share my favorite spots with the web as a whole, but Laurie and Sue are incomparable. Best food and service for miles. I wish I'd had them hen I was in the service industry. Id be rich af. I'm working in Corporate industry now but dammit. Seriously, treat yoursef. 2025 update, still the best. 04-14-25. My partner and I have made the stop into Emerald Garden a few times, and we totally love the atmosphere. The dim lit ambiance and red decor remind me of almost a speakeasy type vibe, and with Budda all nestled in the corner of a booth, it compliments the restaurant nicely. The food is absolutely amazing, and I feel like Amber and I have a new favorite place to have drinks. listen to music, and eat delicious Chinese food. The potstickers were really good with the dipping sauce. The salt and pepper shrimp, house chow mein, and chicken and veggie stir fry was all very delicious and big portion size. One thing is for sure, when you visit Enerald Garden, you had better bring your appetite along with you. Best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. The service was great. I travel a lot and will look for highly rated places to have lunch/ dinner when I want to get out of my Air BnB for a bit. I usually don’t eat Americanized Chinese food b it’s often fried and oily. They just happened to be near the park I was going to hike in and got decent ratings. DO NOT regret it one bit! They accommodated extra vegetables and light sauce, cooked the vegetables perfectly! And offered a house chili sauce. It was so yummy! The atmosphere is a bit bar like, but I read in one of their responses to a review that that was point. They are looking to be unique, and that’s exactly what I look for! Loved the experience! Also noticed there were a lot of locals, which is a testament to their popularity.
