The park's playground, sandy beach, and inviting water allowed the kids to immerse themselves in various activities. From building sandcastles to splashing in the water, their excitement was contagious. The availability of a clean and well-maintained playground ensured their enjoyment and safety throughout the day.
Speaking of cleanliness, the park's restrooms left a positive impression. During our visit, which lasted until noon, we found the restrooms to be well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

Read moreThis is a great park to go to for birds. The way this park is designed is beautiful with the lovely boardwalks and beautiful trees and marshes surrounding them. The boardwalk platforms allow you to get very close to many species of wildlife. We regularly see beavers munching on lily pads, Herons (watched one up close getting dive bombed by Red-Winged Blackbirds), a pair of Bald Eagles that sit on a post not too far out in the water, lots of smaller birds including woodpeckers and sapsuckers. Oh, there are also a lot of turtles here that regularly sunbathe right next to the boardwalks and there is a nice variety of ducks including Wood Ducks. Grebes too. We watched one build its nest last year. It can get quite crowded and I do not go here nearly as much as I did last summer for that reason. I have come to appreciate places that have far fewer people to enjoy nature and wildlife. Overall, this is a great park if you are into wildlife and wildlife...
Read moreA smallish mostly uninteresting park offering boardwalk views of the eastern part of Juanita bay. The green space is fairly open and well maintained; a fairly clean restroom is located near the parking lot and plenty of memorial benches are located throughout. The open spaces are located on awkward hilly terrain so the park is not ideal for groups hoping to get some sport in. Unfortunately, the elevation gain is not sufficient to overcome the foliage by the water so there isn't really a place to sit on the grass by the water and enjoy the lake/bay. Perhaps more suited to the walking and running types, one rather unique part of this park is the long stretch of old market street that forms a trail parallel to the newer busy bypass. The trail is exposed but offers plenty of bench space to catch a cool breeze and an unrestricted...
