A Versatile Park for All Ages: A Perfect Family Outing at Juanita Beach Park Juanita Beach Park in Seattle, Washington is a hidden gem that caters to all age groups, making it the ideal destination for a memorable family outing. During our visit, we witnessed the park's ability to entertain and engage children of all ages, providing endless opportunities for fun and exploration. The park's playground, sandy beach, and inviting water allowed the kids to immerse themselves in various activities. From building sandcastles to splashing in the water, their excitement was contagious. The availability of a clean and well-maintained playground ensured their enjoyment and safety throughout the day. Speaking of cleanliness, the park's restrooms left a positive impression. During our visit, which lasted until noon, we found the restrooms to be well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The stunning views offered by Juanita Beach Park are truly a sight to behold. As we gazed out across the park's surroundings, including the picturesque Lake Washington, we were captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded us. The views alone are worth the visit, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere. While we didn't have direct interactions with staff members, we observed the park's vibrant atmosphere and the joy of other families. Many families were enjoying picnics, cooking delicious meals, and taking advantage of the park's amenities. The volleyball court was bustling with activity, and a few adventurous individuals even braved the waters for a swim. Regarding accessibility, we found the park to be suitable for most visitors. While the accessibility features were acceptable, there is room for improvement to ensure an optimal experience for all. Although the beach may not compare to those in California, it still provided a suitable area for children to play. The sand, although a little dirty, did not hinder their enjoyment. It was evident that efforts were made to maintain the park's cleanliness, and overall, it met our expectations. In conclusion, Juanita Beach Park in Seattle exceeded our expectations, providing an exceptional experience for the entire family. The park's versatile amenities, cleanliness, and stunning views contribute to its charm. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, engage in recreational activities, or simply soak in the serene atmosphere, Juanita Beach Park is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an enjoyable and memorable outing in Seattle.

Stunning walking area all year round, but May-September is extra special in my opinion. There are two parking areas to access the walking path that circles the preserved wildlife area of Juanita Beach: one at the main Juanita Beach park across from the baseball field, and the other is south of there, on Market st. Parking is tight during great weather so plan accordingly. An easy, spontaneous date idea: grab boba or a slush at Pochi (one of the best boba places that has been around for a long time and finally came to the East Side!), and walk the wildlife preserve trail starting from Pochi, southbound on Market. End at one of the two wooden bridges that leads to the lake on the trail for a fascinating view of the water and wildlife. There are restrooms next to the parking lot on Market st, so there's that bonus.

A very relaxing Park with lots of bird watchers. There are numerous small trails, some that take you to little boardwalks the way you can view lots of water birds. Parking is available, and they are restrooms just as you start the trail. There are no barbecue facilities, however they are multiple park benches where one can relax on. A key feature I found was the number of really good-looking and well groomed trees. A great park for a stroll, getting a few pictures of some birds, and enjoying the calming effect of the boardwalks leading to the waterways.

A calm, pretty and a relaxing place to visit! It's even more pretty in fall with lots of vibrant colors on the trees. It's perfect for going on a relaxing walk, or for stress free bike riding or just for the standing and gazing into the distance. And of you are lucky, you will get to see beavers (you should be really lucky for this), blur heron's and some really fabulous birds out here. It's also a turtle nesting area. Overall a pleasant and a lovely place to visit when you are looking for a relaxing walk.

This is my go to spot for picture taking, since it has lots of wildlife that call the area home. In the summer it's easy to spot eagles, turtles, ducks, heron, and osprey. Every season offers different photographic opportunities! It's also a nice place to get out of doors and enjoy nature. The trails are not long, so if you're looking for a long hike, this really isn't the place to go. However, if you're looking for a peaceful meandering walk, definitely give this a try.

Beautiful park in the middle of city. Huge tall trees and lots of birds. Boardwalk that takes you in the middle of wetlands. You can spot ducks, geese, tortoise, Great Blue Heron, and many more. Good place for all age group. There is a longer boardwalk that takes from Bay park to beach Park. Good place for running, walking, picnic or evening sunset. Very safe and walking distance to all the conveniences.
