My husband and I came here for the first time today.
Pros: Super friendly staff, they offer many topping options for FREE which is practically unheard of. You can add multiple free toppings as you'd like. The toppings that costs extra are labeled on the menu. The space is cute and clean. They have a shelf full of board games for groups. All their tables have outlets attached for laptops and USB chargers. I got their Juanita Beach special Beach Bae and it's unique and delicious. My husband got their brown sugar milk tea with oat milk which came out a little watery for my taste, but it's definitely still good.
Cons: As other reviewers noted, there's no pricing on their menu at all except for the toppings. We asked for the price of a drink and they quoted us a little under $6. We think different ice options adds cost. I got my drink without ice and my husband's with less ice, and our total before tips was over $15. Our guess is that the extra costs were less ice, no ice, and oat milk, but we can't be sure. All that's to say, if you're trying to save money, make sure you ask about the details.
Another random thing, when we first arrived at the store, for probably the first hour and a half there were double music playing - we think it's the music from both the dining area and the kitchen battling it out. It was driving us crazy for a while before we gave up and put on headphones lol.
We would...
Read moreDrove 30 minutes to try this location of Pochi. The one in Lynnwood is amazing. I walked in. I wasn't greeted. The workers were too busy having their own conversation. When I was greeted it was very brief and when I turned to order it was someone different. I ordered a very simple drink. An oolong milk tea, with 25% sugar and ice. No toppings. The drink was almost black, very bitter, and very watered down and luke warm. I figured maybe they forgot the creamer. So I asked them if there was creamer in it because the drink is dark and very bitter. The worker tried to tell me that it's because I ordered my drink with almost no sugar and that's why it's bitter. I had mentioned to her that I order the same drink at Lynnwood and it never came out like this. She said okay we'll remake it. I watched her walk to the back and complain about what just happened to her male coworker. It made me uncomfortable and it was pretty unprofessional. My drink came out a little better but it was still watered down and luke warm. I didn't want to ask for a refund because I saw the worker complain about me to her coworker so I just left. But honestly, if I'm paying almost $7 for a drink. It better be made like the other locations. Have consistency . I've ordered my drink from the Lynnwood location and never had an issue or thoughts about returning it. Won't be...
