I moved to Wilmington in January and started going here because it’s super close to my place. There is one specific employee that is EXTREMELY rude to me every single time I go through the drive thru. I order a Vanilla Breve. It’s a real drink and a real term and he consistently asks stuff like oh so you want a latte with heavy cream? Or he’ll say so you want half n half with ice knowing full well what it is because I’ve had issues with him for over a few months now. Now it’s not only him but at least 3 other employees who treat me like absolute crap every time I order it and make me feel like I’m stupid and my drink order isn’t real? Like GOOGLE what a Vanilla Breve is? It’s not a latte. I have a full blown video of him mocking my fiancé after I went inside to have him fix my drink after he messed it up where he made rude remarks about how I didn’t have to pay for a remake at least since I have my “preferences” I’ve asked to speak to an owner both on FB messenger and Instagram because how else do I get this resolved and have never gotten a response. Read moreI get the same drink whenever I go.. Iced latte with caramel and oatmilk. The quality is very inconsistent. I’ve been told “the espresso may be dead” so I’m supposed to tell barista to make sure it’s not.. seriously?! They charge .85 for oatmilk which is insane and not at all fair to those who can’t do dairy. When I go myself, I taste the drink before I leave, but my husband will go for me on weekends, and usually one of them isn’t made right. I went today. I realized when I finished the drink , it was 3/4 ice! That is the called for with what they charge. I went to the register and waited at least 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. She finally came over and I questioned the amount of ice to which her answer was “that’s the recipe, and my staff does it right”. That’s my last time going there! Read moreI have been to this location several times and always have a good experience, but I wanted to highlight a specific employee for his incredible kindness and customer service. His name is Jake and he is always such a pleasure to deal with. When I was in the other day, I witnessed such a sweet moment with Jake and a customer. I was waiting for my coffee drink, and this elderly man approached the counter who looked like he was having a bad day. His face lit up when he saw Jake and said “Hi Jake it’s so great to see you here today!” Jake also remembered the customers name who was getting a refill on a coffee. Jake rinsed out the customers mug while chatting with him and replenished it with fresh coffee. They chatted back-and-forth and the man walked away with a huge smile on his face.
