I recently had an awful experience at a Dunkin' Donuts location that I used to love. The woman taking our order was extremely rude and not knowledgeable about their deals. But despite this, I brushed it off, hoping for a better experience. I worked in customer service so I completely understand an off day. However, things got worse when my partner and I tried to redeem a coupon from our app that was not working on either of our phones. The employee claimed there was nothing she could do, stating that the app had nothing to do with the company. We were forced to pay full price, which was frustrating but what bothered us more what the attitude of the worker she completely didnāt care. To top it all off, the drink I ordered tasted like sugar water, and as we pulled away, we realized they had not even given my partner his latte. The lack of customer service was appalling and left us feeling disappointed, especially considering the number of times we had visited this establishment in the past. I grew up here so itās sad to see how poor the service now is. This is not the first time we have experienced terrible service at this location. And that is why I am writing this review. It is one thing to have a bad day, but consistent poor service is unacceptable. We received our iced coffee and it was really dark so I told my husband to wait to pull off, let me taste it. The coffee was really bitter and didnāt taste like anything. I asked the girl at the window nicely if our drinks could be fixed because they were really bitter. She informed she would give us the cream and liquid sugar to fix it for ourselves. She barely gave us sugar and said she made it herself so she knows she put it in there. I didnāt have time to go back and forth with her and didnāt feel I should have to. I have worked in customer service for a long time as a manager. It would have been nothing to make our drinks correctly. You could look at the drink and see there was no cream added it was dark. And if Iām telling you itās bitter there is not a lot of sugar or no sugar at all. The drink was horrible and this was my first time at this location. I would not recommend it and will not be back. To tell the customer what you did instead of fixing the issue is not great customer service. We spend our money to get what we ask for not for excuses. Personal accountability goes a long way.
