I can’t say enough good things about NYPD Pizza Hunters Creek! From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is something special. Bella greeted us with a big smiles, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a casual night out or grabbing takeout.
Let’s get to the food—because WOW. We decided to try a little bit of everything, and we were blown away by how delicious it all was. First up, the pizza: it was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in Florida! The crust was the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can tell they put a lot of care into their dough. The sauce was rich, slightly tangy, and had just the right amount of seasoning. And the toppings? Fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We ordered a classic pepperoni and a veggie pizza, and both were absolute perfection.
Next, the Italian subs. These were a game-changer! The bread was soft but sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings. The meats were high-quality and packed with flavor, and the toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their house dressing) were so fresh they felt like they’d just been picked. It’s not easy to find an Italian sub done right, but this one hit every mark and then some.
Now, let’s talk about the wings. I wasn’t expecting to love them as much as I did, but they were incredible. We got the hot buffalo and the garlic parmesan flavors, and they were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The buffalo had just the right kick without being overwhelming, and the garlic parmesan was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. These wings could easily compete with any wing spot out there!
And then there are the garlic knots. Oh. My. Goodness. These were some of the best garlic knots I’ve ever tasted! They were soft and pillowy on the inside with a beautiful golden crust on the outside. The buttery garlic coating was absolutely addictive, and the sprinkle of herbs took them to the next level. We couldn’t stop eating them, and honestly, I wish we had ordered more!
What really stood out to me was the consistency. Every single item we tried was cooked perfectly and tasted like it was made with love and care. It’s rare to find a place that excels at so many different menu items, but NYPD Pizza absolutely nailed it.
The service was just as fantastic as the food. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. You can tell this place is run with passion and a real commitment to making every guest’s experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking for amazing pizza, wings, subs, and garlic knots, look no further than NYPD Pizza Hunters Creek. It’s the perfect spot for families, friends, or even just treating yourself to some seriously delicious food. This is easily my new favorite restaurant, and I can’t wait to come back and try even more of their menu. Highly,...
Read moreHad to delete the first review since the owner doesn’t want to acknowledge his poor customer service skills. Attached is the original post and the “grade a” commentary back from the owner 😂
I had my mom place an online order through their website for us. One of the soups they had on the menu was broccoli & cheddar, so we ordered two. After placing my order, my mom receives a call from Lauren, telling me they didn’t have any broccoli & cheddar soup, that if we would like something else. I really didn’t care for anything else but since one of the soups comes with a meal and the other one was for my dad, we changed it for a French onion soup and an Italian wedding soup. Which we didn’t end up eating cause it wasn’t something we wanted. I should of have said forget the soup but too late now. So, my mom says towards the end “oh but for the inconvenience, you could throw in some garlic rolls” the girl Lauren responds back “sure! How many?” my mom goes “3 is fine”. Not telling her it was going to be an additional cost after they already charged my card $35.15. But then they charged it again $35.15 making that two charges of $35.15 plus the third charge of $38.34. So you mean to tell me you charged me an additional $3.19 all because we said “no, but for the inconvenience you can throw in some garlic rolls”. (I could careless about the $3, trust me!) After my parents go pick up the food and all is well I check my bank statement to see they’ve charged me 3x. Now, thank you Lord I’m not in the situation where I don’t have enough funds in my account because if I would have over drafted, what would you have said than?? My mom phones NYPD for me, the girl Lauren, said she would pass it along to her manager, Jeff. My mom explains to him everything I just wrote above and he completely ignored what she and continues to go on, “yeah, if the charges don’t disappear, go ahead and give your bank a call to dispute it.” So what’s worst? Being charged an extra $3 or being charged $73.49 more than what you should of originally been charged for?? best part about this is, they never verified with my mom on the method of payment. Someone could of stolen the card and bought all this food.
Jeff, you were upset with my first response because I was honest. God forbid, you get a bad review and you throw a fit about it. Well I hope you really enjoy this one sir Jeff. Get your customer service skills in check. Regardless of how many years you’ve been in business, you clearly don’t know how to behave with your PAYING customers to create a better relationship to have people want to come back no matter what the issue was.
P.S. I meant what I said about the spaghetti and meatballs.
As to any other “future” customer, do yourself the favor and take your money elsewhere.

Read moreUPDATE: They have answered my reviewed and just as I expected they blamed it all on the customer as I saw they had previously done with the other bad reviews. For everyone’s information it is against the law to ask for any vest, certificate or any kind of proof that the service animal is in fact service. They asked my daughter to leave the store not to step away and not once did the Hispanic manager ask me the 2 questions they are supposed to ask by law regarding the service animal. I was the one who asked my daughter to step away from the counter after the Hispanic manager told her to leave the store. Also for everyone’s information discrimination doesn’t at all mean the manager has to be a different race to discriminate. There are a lot of cases where Hispanic managers discriminate against other Hispanics just because they are from other countries. Or just because that’s the kind of people they are. So all their points are just a way to get out of any kind of issue. This store making good pizzas doesn’t at all mean they don’t discriminate against service dogs haha but I guess as long as their pizzas are ok then they don’t really care about the rest. Just another mediocre store.
DISCRIMINATION ALERT. I went to this place for the 1st time yesterday and there was a very nice lady at the register so I said oh wow great service, I’m coming back tomorrow. Today I had my disabled child with her service dog and we went in to order to go. The manager came over and was disgusted by our presence. She said dog can’t be here, I said he’s service. She rolled her eyes and left very dissatisfied. And then after that she proceeded to just give us disgusted looks to the point where my daughter says she never wants to come back there which of course is more than fine with me. I went back to get a number for another manager to make a complaint and the lady who is there today as a manager just told me to call the store. Discrimination at its finest. We are also Hispanic so maybe she was discriminating against Hispanics or maybe both a disability and race. Not sure but I just read the complaints on here and I saw the answer that was given by this place and I wish I would have seen those before I ever went there. It’s very clear they get very confrontational when they get a bad review which makes sense with the attitude I saw today at the store. Anyway. This review is not for them but for the people reading and hopefully I can help someone else avoid their awful...
