We placed an order at 6:29 pm tonight for two calzones and was told they would be ready at 7:00. We arrived at 7:05 to pick up our order. We were told it be would be a bit longer. So I took a seat and waited for twenty more minutes. When my order was still not ready, I go up and ask about the our order. The person at the counter said it took time to cook the calzones and we did not place the order until 7:00. She stated they are boxing it up right now. I told her that we ordered at 6:30 not 7:00. She told me that the order was not prepared until 7:00 because they got busy. I noticed that they opened the pizza boxes to the customers before me to show the pizza. I asked why my order was not presented the same way as my order was just given to me and said there you go. The counter person just looked at me like I had asked for something not done before. I asked to see a manager. The manager repeated that the order was not prepared until 7:00 and it takes 30 to 35 minutes. No apologies nor sincere care about this issue. I left angry! I got home and opened the boxes and found why they never showed me the calzones! One was really burnt and not edible!! What a scam!! I will not go back to a place that treats their customers this way and knowingly serves them bad food! 7/15/24 I have added the photos of our food as you requested. But with your server sarcastically smiling and waving to me as I exited after I had spoke with the manager on duty. Who also reflected the same attitude that day I don’t think I need to come back and be treated that way again.

My family and I have been supporting this establishment since it open very good service and family oriented, VERY disappointed and would never go back again. I ordered a personal pizza for my wife ( green peppers, mushrooms and unions ) wile shopping at a local Publix at 8:12 pm was advised would take between 15-20 minutes. I arrived maybe 20 min afterward greeted and asked my name she acknowledged my order on the computer and proceeded to charge me with a smile, after I paid me expecting to walk out was advised my order was just getting started and would be another 20 min. I waited anyway being my wife under quarantine ( luckily am negative ) was expecting her pizza, when the pizza came out I did relay that in the future she ( one of the owners ) should make it clear before paying the status of their order. In reply she said she was not the one that took the order and that she was sorry for any disconvenience my god you knew before I paid my replied, I decided to leave it at that and get the pizza to my wife when walking out the door a older man screaming at me behind the register appears I look back and said to myself very sad they just lost a family and many more we would tell GOOD LUCK NYPD PIZZA GOD BLESS

This is one of the worst experiences we had at NYPD pizza. We went for dine in and they have this new girl who didn’t understand and started to take the order. I placed the order for 1 toping(tomato)pesto pizza ., garlic knots and 2 liter drink and paid for it and waited at my table from 5:03 to 5:40. Then we got pesto pizza with no tomatoes and base being BURNT. Upon checking why there are no tomatoes. This girls agin asked if they can remake it for us. And I said yes. After 12 mins., the store manager comes to the table and says that there is nothing she can do as we already paid for the order. This is a food safety issue as the pizza being burnt at the base and my kids wanted to eat as it had no tomatoes. Also instead of dine in. She bought us in a box and gave paper plates which is so frustrating. We have been eating here since 6 years and this is the first time it happened to us. Waited for about an hour and spent money for nothing. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
