Can I say I went out of my way to write this review so other people are aware of the type of food they are ordering. I ordered Crab Rangoon, Boneless spare ribs, Chicken and rice soup, sesame chicken with white rice, wontong soup, and chicken Lo- Mein. Let's start with the spare ribs....they are not ribs! I don't know what type of meat they use but it is like chewing gum. Next, Chicken and rice soup has NO FLAVOR...this coming from an Army man that eats anything even burnt food. The white rice that came with the sesame chicken was super sticky and tasted weird (hopefully was not expired) and my kids that eat sticky rice often were the first to notice it. The Crab Rangoon had a weird expired flavor to it and none of use ate more than 2 out of that order fearing food poisoning. Lastly, I am sorry but this is a shame of Asian style food. I don't know how they are getting any type of reviews above 3 stars. I hope the restaurant takes this review as an opportunity to clean house of cooks that don't belong in that kitchen and management that are not looking at the quality of food leaving...

Now last time we called our order in, we were immediately asked to hold (not on mute) and I just listened to the young lady have a lengthy conversation about her new tatttos with someone at register. Whatever I almost hung up but just waited her out. Finally went to pick up food and the same chick gave off this nasty vibe and wouldn’t say anything just talks to you like she is doing you a favor. I gladly signed a ZERO gratuity amount since it’s pickup, and she sorta retaliated by telling me it would be a few minutes. As it turns out the food was already prepped and bagged on counter, so she basically was screwing with me. Lastly, the food ended up being ridiculously spicy (Mongolian beef) which kinda ruined it (and I love spicy). Conclusion- if you don’t mind average fast food and a bipolar cashier, then EastWok is the place for you! Go ahead, give them...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place! There's already so few good Chinese takeout in the area and sadly this was another disappointment. I ordered the fried "krab" rangoons and homemade ice tea and both were pretty gross. The rangoons were overly greasy and the filling was mainly cream cheese and scallions. It made for a bad after taste. Also, the ice tea tasted like it was made from dirty tap water and boiled Lipton tea bags. Also bad after taste. I'm glad I only started with these two as I can imagine how bad the food is overall. The positives: it was clean inside and the hostess was friendly. Hopefully the food will improve but I doubt I'll be going back...
