Normally a great shopping experinece at this Publix although today was far below the publix service parr and rather disappointing. I had ordered 2 subs online for instore pick-up when I arrived only one was ready. I went about my trip and picked up the few 8yems I also needed while there. Upon returning to the deli my 2nd sub was still not there. I patiently waited for the three other guests to be serviced in front of me to be greeted by a rather rude employee that stated " this is for hot food or do you need a sub". I stated I was missing half my online order. Before I could get any additional information out. The employee snapped back with we don't have meatballs I called you twice. I can replace it with anything. I politely said no and walked away rather disappointed at not getting a sub and the rude service. I planned to mention something at check out. But also had a rather rude cashier that said hi, my total and bye with very little interaction. The younger girl bagging the items was more concerned with the alerts she was getting on her smart watch than performing her job. Normally I would let a bad experience go but this is the second time I have attempted to get a meatball sub and the deli has been out. May I suggest keeping better track of inventory or finding a way to remove it from the online options when not available. As far as the two phone calls yes my husband did have 2 missed calls from an unfamiliar florida number. In these days most folks do not answer random numbers we send them to voicemail and if important expect a message. No message was left either time. I may also suggest to update your policy to leave a voicemail message and not just call or maybe a way for an email or text to be generated. Lastly I apologize for the length of this review I would have rather given the feedback to a person in store or possibly a survey option online which neither has been available for me today. As I started with in general a great publix but please try and keep that service you are so...
Read moreThis review is directly geared towards the old, white woman with the imitation pixie cut, deep mascara, and slight hunch in her back who was working in the liquor store on 09/15 at approximately 8:30pm. My girlfriend and I walked into the store to purchase Stella Rosa wine. The wine we always get after a long day at work. My girlfriend carried the wine from the shelf to the counter where we greeted the passive aggressive woman at the counter. We said hello, cheerfully, and she immediately asks my girlfriend if she is 21. Fair, being that she looks younger than 21. Thinking she was making a harmful joke or giving a compliment, my girlfriend laughs and says âyes Iâm 21. Why? I donât look like I am?â The lady said no. My girlfriend then says âI get that all the time, but I am 21.â The lady says âk. I need to see your ID because youâre the one carrying the alcohol and youâre talking about alcohol.â My girlfriend tells the lady that she isnât buying it, I am. I have my license in my hand and I add that I am 23 years old. This lady proceeds to say that she cannot serve us because 1 person doesnât have an ID. Never heard of that before. I add âshe is 21, can you look at a picture of it or something?â She then makes her snarky remark about how âyou never go into a liquor store without an IDâ and âyou got lucky at those other liquor stores you went to because thatâs the law. Thatâs how it is around here.â Okay. I saw multiple groups of people go in and out of the store and I highly doubt she asked every single person for an ID. To cut things short, she went and got the police officer who was sitting outside after I departed from the store, assuming she âfeared for her lifeâ....
Read moreI had an unpleasant experience with the bakery today as they completely ignored the request I had written under the âspecial instructionsâ comment when placing an online order for a custom cake. I addressed my concern with the employee that helped me at the customer service desk and she was extremely helpful and understanding. My issue was when I spoke with the bakery manager and she practically blamed me for the fact that they didnât do as I requested for the cake which was simply to not place frosting on it or to put as little frosting as possible. The manager said it was my responsibility to call them and inform them of my request or to order a different cake, when I in fact gave them written instructions of what I wanted. She was rude and clearly didnât know how to handle the situation, she even told me that sheâd see when she could correct the problem as she was too busy when it was their responsibility to read the instructions and get in contact with me if there was something they needed to inform me of and not the other way around as she implied. The store manager was informed of what happened and they quickly corrected everything. Iâm giving Publix the 5 star review because of how they handled the situation after the encounter with the bakery manager, she herself deserves 0 stars. Myriam (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) was especially helpful and understating, so special shoutout to her for the excellent...
