Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Florida

When to try it for the first time today because this pollo campero which is a Guatemalan based food chain which was founded in Guatemala City 40 years ago just opened 2 weeks ago and my roots are from Guatemala, and wanted to support the chicken chain which is from my parents country, and the chicken tasted horrible the employees there do not know how to prepare chicken the chicken was undercooked and raw, and had an exaggerated amount of salt as well chicken was so horrible that me and my wife ended up with a stomach ache and my wife actually threw up this place needs to hire a new manager that knows how to prepare chicken and how to train The employees on how to cook chicken properly. this place is being managed very poorly I spent $42 and I am upset because as a customer you pay for quality and this is not quality the chicken taste horrible, please see the picture right below, and you will see the chicken was raw all the pieces were like this. I hope the manager read this because he needs to know that you don’t give people raw chicken for $42 dollars. We had the displeasure of visiting Pollo Campero on 7/18/2024 and our experience was nothing short of a nightmare, all thanks to the rude manager on duty. From the moment I walked in, it was clear customer service was not a priority.

First time trying Pollo Campero for our Company event and it was quite disappointing mess. We placed an order for 32 meals we we're short one meal, missing sides, dinner rolls, tortilla's. Our 3 piece fried meals we're short one piece of chicken each.

We drove back over to either get our items or a partial refund. The manager laughed as soon as he saw our receipt and said "Yeah I know we shorted you on your sides" And denied everything else saying he packaged everything himself. Said we got what we paid for not getting extra items or a refund. Completely unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration and find a place where you are treated with the respect you deserve.
