Main Street Pizza — Restaurant in Kissimmee

Decent Pizza and good wings, BUT...

I have visited this restaurant from it's early days (When they used to give out free beers on the weekends at their old location). But unfortunately, the place is not the same.

I was greeted on the spot, and instead of being walked over to a table I was asked to pick one (Table) and that someone would be there shortly. This is normal practice, but great restaurant great and walk their guest to their tables, so no Biggy. I knew I was in for a bad experience the second our drinks took ten minutes to make to the table (There was one other family, which they had already order and myself), and to add the waiter (Guy) brought back the wrong drinks. The waiter noticed immediately and corrected the issue. The waiter was kind enough to let us try one of their sauces before placing an order. Unfortunately, the lack of training/experience soon started to reflect. The waiter took our order (No pen or paper, we ordered 10 wings and a 10" pizza with chicken and mushrooms). While we waited (30 minutes for a pizza), The other family that was there got fed up and asked to have their order change from dine in to take out. That family was there before us and they waited what I assume more than 30 minutes, and no their order was not big. At last we get our wings, which was the only good part of the whole experience. When we received our pizza to our surprised it was not what we ordered. Instead of receiving chicken and mushroom we received chicken with spinach. Not only was the pizza wrong, who ever sliced it decided to surprise us with all type of sizes. Instead of asking for a new one and wait another 30 minutes we simple eat it. Not to mention that our waiter was supposed to bring us condiments for the pizza, which at no surprised to us never made to the table. The three staff that night rather talk to each other instead of taking care of the only two people in their restaurant.

Update 2021: I had to drop the star rating, sadly. This used to be my favorite pizza place, but lately they have been dropping the ball. Staff doesn’t know how to give estimated time for pick up. They either take much longer than they say, or when you arrive the pizza clearly looks like it has been sitting there for too long.

I ordered my usual today and went to pick it up at the time I was told. Pizza was cold. I asked if I could get a fresh slice. The person at the front took it to the back and they said it was fresh. He came back and handed me the same box. I had already paid, so I just took it. Of course, as I suspected, it looked cold and sure enough, it was cold. Highly disappointed. I hope things get better.

The pizza in the photos I shared last year clearly represent a freshly made pizza. The one I was given today does not. Bummer.

2020: Pizza was Great! Customer service was excellent! The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 Stars at this time is because the A/C is still not working properly. Other than that, I can’t fault the place. It is family friendly. You will find some street parking right out front. And there is a free parking garage just around the block for additional parking. Good value for your $. They have really good...

In the past we have gone and the pizza is delicious. However, we will not be back due to finding out about their lack of care for CDC guidelines. When we first walked in, the table was dirty and she tried to assure us that it was clean until she saw the cup rings that were left from a previous party. People were obviously sitting there without a mask, eating, drinking, and talking, and you forget to sanitize it afterwards for the next person? Mistakes like that get people sick. After we sat down, I noticed the kitchen staff does not wear masks even while walking through the dining room. When I asked the server about it, she said it's 107 degrees back there so they do not wear masks. So you're telling me this company doesn't properly vent their kitchen and puts their staff at risk? The last straw was when we saw the server herself ignoring the mask rules. She had a mask, but it kept falling down and when she went behind the bar to refill a drink, it was down as she was talking loudly to another customer across the restaurant (I'm sure some of her particles ended up in that person's drink). Unfortunately we will not be back until things are taken a bit...
