How did this place get a 4.7 review! We went on a Sunday around 10:30 for a birthday breakfast, it was 5 of us. First impression walking in was it was clean, decor was nice and atmosphere was good although we were the only ones in the entire restaurant…so I am unsure why the food was trash. We ordered 3 waffle dishes and all the waffles were cooked differently some light, some dark. When you cut into the waffle it crumbled and the 3 very tiny overcooked chicken tenders tasted like the frozen ones that appeared to be microwaved. The morning omelet was described as having bacon, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes but instead was filled with canned mushrooms that were so rubbery and inedible. When we asked the waiter what happened to the bacon and other ingredients, he stated it didn’t come with it. He left then came back with 2 strips of bacon on a plate that was still raw like it was also popped in a microwave to heat up and said yes you were right the omelette was supposed to have bacon….unacceptable!!! It was supposed to be cooked with all ingredients not ingredients individually brought out on a plate raw. The scrambled eggs were so dry and overcooked almost burned. The server Carlos was not attentive at all mostly stayed behind the bar area and did not check on us at all, very unprofessional. I saw one other guy but no one checked on us and again we were the only ones in the entire restaurant, this should have been a sign but we based us dining there on the 4.7 star review. After reading some of the responses from the restaurant owners to the reviews AFTER our horrible experience it seems like the owners responses are to make excuses instead of fixing the problem. After my wife and I decided to take the SunRail to downtown Kissimmee, I sent her a link to Google Maps with several restaurant options that were conveniently located within walking distance from the station. After reviewing the choices, she selected Soul Tapas and Bar. Her decision was based not only on the consistently high ratings but also on the impressive photos and top-tier reviews shared by previous diners.

Our experience began with a short, pleasant walk from the SunRail station, and we arrived at the restaurant around noon. We were pleased to find that it wasn't too busy, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Daniel, who also served as our waiter. Daniel was both attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer our questions about the menu with patience and clarity.

We opted for the lunch special, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and presentation. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, offering a delightful mix of flavors that made our meal truly enjoyable. My wife also ordered the $2.99 mango margaritas, which she found to be both refreshing and well-balanced—a great complement to the meal.

As a family of four, we recently dined at Soul Tapas Bar and had a delightful experience. The variety of drinks we tried was impressive, and each one complemented our meal perfectly.

We started with the bread appetizer served with cheese and tomato, which was a wonderful beginning. Our meal included a steak platter, a hamburger, a chicken bowl, and a standout carrot soup, which was unanimously our favorite dish of the evening. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making our dining experience thoroughly enjoyable.

Parking was a breeze with free parallel parking available right in front of the restaurant, which added to the convenience. Our server was exceptional, providing attentive service and even personalizing our experience by playing our favorite artist's music in the restaurant.
