I recently had the pleasure of dining at Paul's Italian Deli & Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. With a perfect rating of 5/5, this place truly stands out in terms of both ambiance and culinary delights.
As a lover of Italian cuisine, I couldn't resist trying their cannolis, and they did not disappoint. The delicate pastry shells were perfectly crisp, giving way to a luscious, creamy ricotta filling that was just the right amount of sweet. Each bite was a heavenly combination of textures and flavors, a true testament to the authenticity of their recipes.
But the surprises didn't stop there. I decided to venture beyond Italian classics and opted for their cheesesteak. The moment the plate arrived, the aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. The tender slices of steak were piled high, smothered in melted cheese, caramelized onions, and peppers, all nestled within a freshly baked roll. It was a flavor explosion with every bite, striking a wonderful balance between savory and indulgence.
The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste was evident, and it's clear that the chefs at Paul's Italian Deli & Restaurant are truly passionate about their craft. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, making it a perfect spot for both casual gatherings and intimate dinners.
From the delightful cannolis to the mouthwatering cheesesteak, my experience at Paul's Italian Deli & Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. I can confidently give it a full 5/5 rating, and I can't wait to return to explore even more of their tempting menu offerings. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine done right, this place is an...
Read moreAte here today and it was as good as the other reviews claim. The bread was soft and not overpowering the foods in it. I ordered the Soprano and asked for extra meat. I will say, it is not necessary. I honestly had a tough time trying to finish it and that is not a problem I typically have.
The prices are better than fair, they are downright cheap. The meats are priced per pound and they are as good as the common grocery stores yet they are making a sandwich for you.
Lots of people mention how friendly they are and I will agree but add this. They all are listening to the customers while working on other customers sandwiches. This is super helpful when there is a rush like I would say i was part of. Not a crazy rush but at 12:25pm probably more busy that say, after 1pm. They are building the sandwiches before the order is complete. One great example was I went to the counter to ask for extra onions, which he kindly obliged and reached down grabbed a small condiment cup sat it on the prep counter behind him. The gentleman that was building sandwiches reached over without saying a word or turning around, reached over picked up the cup, filled it with sliced onions and set it beside him so the gentleman I asked reached over and picked it up and handed to me. When I saw this exchange I was impressed how well they work together and efficiently. This may not seem like much but that teamwork flows like melted butter and helps the customers experience without most customers even noticing how much quicker they get things done.
Also fun to notice is them slicing the meat and calling out the weight to the other guy so they can get the billing correct I assume. It really is fun to watch this...
Read moreListen. Full stop. I have a lot to say about this place. I was a small child when I left Connecticut and after my mother moved us to Florida I looked forward to trips back to CT for the food. The food is amazing up there. Buts its not just the food. You look around the joint, you talk to the employees, you see the clientele from all walks of life. It’s not just that it’s great food. It’s an authentic experience. Since i was old enough to appreciate a good sandwich I’ve been going to Pauls Deli. I want to say I’ve been going there for about 15 and for 15 years it has remained my definition of a sandwich. I’ve ordered the same sandwich for years and it’s consistent and delicious and everything you want from an Italian hero. But. But... it’s not just the sandwich. You walk in and it’s no frills. Not much to look at. But that’s perfect. Because that isn’t what is important. They know it. I know it. They greet you with a smile every single time you walk in. And while you’re ordering you know you have 100 percent of their attention. You just KNOW that they their primary concern is giving you exactly what you want. Exactly what you NEED. And this place hits the mark. Every. Single. Time. I’ve been a hundred times in the last 15 years (maybe longer?) and I know what I’m getting into every single time I open that door.
Come to Pauls. You won’t be disappointed. I throw 5 bucks on the tip line every time I go. First and foremost to hook up the guys taking care of me. But also because i feel like I am robbing them by enjoying the best sandwich I’ve ever had for just 6 or 7...
