The chuletas were cooked to perfection—tender, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Every bite tasted homemade with love.

I ordered the pernil with arroz con gandules and salad. The pernil was very tasty and well seasoned, but the rice was bland and lacked gandules. As for the salad, you can't go wrong with something as simple as lettuce and two slices of tomato. They bring a homemade vinaigrette which was good. As far as the ambiance, it was a bit dark and didn't feel like a regular puertorrican restaurant. Not much decor or anything to bright the atmosphere. The location is perfect on Broadway across the street from Matador, but what really sets it apart is the home-cooked Puerto Rican food absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. From the first step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth and treated like family. The service is friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere feels like you're eating in your Grandmother's kitchen in New York.
