Definitely did not live up to the hype. I used to love Jack in the box, they had premium burgers and service. This one missed the mark by a long shot. Started my experience pulling into the drive thru. No one came on the mike for a hot minute... then when they did, they asked me to wait. I said ok... was about to show my son what he has been missing his entire life living on the eastcoast and not being able to enjoy some awesome jack in thebox burgers. So after about ten minutes... and ten minutes is a long time to wait to put in an order... the girl.comes on the mic... what can we start for you today... I was like... 2 ultimate bacon cheeseburger meals please!!!!. Then I pull around... there is a car atthe window... I'm like dang... they must be making this stuff sooooo fresh... I'm expecting this meal to be ahhh-mazing. It wasn't long and I had the bag O burgers in my cluthes. Pull around and open the prize... I wish I would have taken a picture for you all... this was the saddest little burger I have ever seen.... sotiny... and I'm not small shaming... the picture on that menu showed this voluptuous burger with bacon pouring overthe sides.... the fat kid in me was doing jumping Jack's waiting on that burger... sadly... that is not what I got. My burger was on a diet and didn't like bacon like I do... I had one tiny sliver of bacon that I had to search for... like I mean search for! I almost missed it hidden under a pickle. And the fries were soo soggy... I was like... why sis i wait almost 25 minutes to get this?. I think they made the fries when I got to the drive thru and they made the burger last night. I cried on the wayback to work. My son thinks I have poor taste in burgers after hyping jack up. Hopefully they just had a bad day today!. I hope everyone else has a better experience...
Read moreSo we pulled up at 3 in the morning, tired and hungry. There was no line, which was super cool, until I realized why. Not only was the cashier ditzy as hell, she seemed high af, taking our order down wrong, interrupting us when we spoke, asking us to repeat ourselves multiple times. So first we ask for a milkshake, but the machine is down, okay I understand it needs to be cleaned. We ask for a salad, they don't have any prepped. Mildly irritating that even tho they have no other customers, they couldn't prep one for us. Whatever, we move to the window where we have to correct the cashier on what we wanted. She reads it back, and asks us to pull around, as our order is going to take a few minutes. She shuts the window before we can say anything, making us have to reach out of the car to knock and ask for sauces. We pull the car around and wait. About 10 minutes later, cashier comes out empty handed and mentions that she was displeased about where we parked (we parked one row away from the door because there was a creepy car lurking around). She then tells us that they looked everywhere but they have no jalapeño poppers. Again, mildly irritating. I'm a vegetarian, so there are only a few items I can eat, but I had also ordered a breakfast sammich, minus the bacon. So, the lady brings us out our food, and guess what? Bacon on my b-fast sammich. Lol. Needless to say, we got a refund on the two items. But the lack of concern shown by the manager or the employee was absolutely shocking. I've worked fast food for many years, and this was just ridiculous. 0/10 would not recommend to my...
Read moreDecent food, and the people are polite, but their business practices are atrocious.
Edit: I cannot seem to respond to the response, but it's pretty simple. There has been a multitude of instances where one person is doing the work for the entire kitchen, from ordering, prepping, working the til etc. This is substantial as your singular worker is doing the job of at least 2, most likely 3 personnel, and they are drowning during those times.
Case in point at my last visit there was one worker doing their best to do it all, and simply could not keep up. They were honest and let me know they could get my order but it would be a while... this was after waiting in line at the menu board for 25 minutes, and watching them kick out multiple vehicles behind me, and I told them thank you but I had to get to work and at this point I cannot wait anymore as I would be late. Little did I know that I would be trapped another 10 minutes waiting for the singular vehicle in front of me to be told they should pull to the front as it would be a while for their food as well. The business cannot be run on a staff of one, it is gross that this consistently happens, and it affected me personally as I was on time instead of early for work with no food (I'm on call and get a 90 minute notification to be at work, meaning I spent not less than 40 minutes of my 90 minute period in line to not be served, and went hungry...
