Derrick is a wonderful man.I came in and got a ring for my wedding and also purchased a ring for my son to propose to his girlfriend. Someone stole my safe at work with my sons ring in it. When we told him, he found another beautiful ring and deeply discounted it for us. Six months into my marriage, my husband passed away suddenly. I couldn't keep the ring and I made the mistake of going to Main st. Jewelry where they told me my $7,000 ring was only worth $100. They tried to scam me. I went back to Holliday and I was real distraught after losing my husband then having to get rid of the ring. I was barely able to talk and they brought me water and kleenex and were so kind. Without hesitation, Derrick took the ring and wiped my account clean. This is customer service, which most people have forgotten even existed. I have been going to Holliday for over 20 years. My first wedding ring was purchased in 2009. We have bought 2 more directly from Holliday and took numerous rings in for repairs/sizing/etc. I do not wear my ring from 2013 very often and recently noticed it was missing a chip diamond. Took it in and since it was not there from August 2024-now they want to charge me $140 to replace the tiny diamond and rhodium plate it. (To be sincere, I don’t know the last time they have even done an RP treatment when I took it in during warranty).
