Mazatlan Grill — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

Not a great experience the last several times I’ve been. Poor service. The servers were rude, and very very hard to understand. We were never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, and it took almost 25 minutes to get our waters. Margaritas were decent, not very strong and the strawberry one had so many seeds in it I almost had to chew every sip. The food was bland, unseasoned, and drowned in a bitter, almost inedible sauce. After we attempted to eat our meals, we waiting another 45 minutes for our check, and another 20 for someone to take the check to cash out. We’ve been here multiple times alone and to meet friends. We always dine in the bar. The staff is wonderful, attentive & so friendly! If you are looking to save a dollar or two - come and order off the Lunch Menu or in the afternoon for the Happy Hour Menu. The main menu is always available. When you have a choice - order the shredded beef. Our favorites: Enchiladas ale Crema - chicken enchiladas covered with sour cream & Parmesan cheese. MAZATLAN HAS RESTORED MY FAITH IN MEXICAN RESTAURANTS! Great variety with reasonable prices. Flavorful seasoning in food but not overpowering, quality presentation, service and attentivness. I ordered the Chile Relleno/Enchilada combo plate. The Chile Relleno was satisfying with a light and airy coating. The combo worked together beautifully. Temperature was on point, not burn hot or luke warm. I will agree with another review.....the chips were fresh, thin and not greasy.
