This place is great! I love all the Mexican snacks they bulk pack such as chili peanuts, candied peanuts, Japanese style peanuts, candied fruit, dulce the goiaba (solidified guava jelly that goes great with a slice of white cheese,) dulce de .. (something that tastes like apple,) etc.
You can get frozen yuca (aka casava, manioc, mandioca,) here to make yucca fries which are so much better than French fries! (Boil for 30ish minutes, break into rough fries, then get until golden.)
However, the best part is the food court/deli area in the bank. They serve EXCELLENT Street tacos, tortas (sandwiches,) quesadillas, tamales etc. Taco Tuesday you get 6 tacos for $10. I hope Lorena serves you, she is the best!
Finally, the staff here is great! They are super friendly and helpful! A shout out to Laura who helped me the first day, then to Edith, Cristina, Cesar (manager,) and of course Lorena.
Did I mention the Mexican Doritos, Cheetos and other snacks? (Tip: they are written in Spanish). They are much better than their US counter parts!
There are plenty of English speakers here, and non-hispanics are welcomed, so don't be afraid to try...
