I had a very disappointing experience at this dispensary that I feel others should be aware of. Upon arriving, I parked in the same dirt area where many other vehicles were parked, as the designated lot doesn’t accommodate larger vehicles like mine. I was with a paraplegic friend who had his small service dog with him. Since the dog is small, finding a vest that fits properly has been a challenge, but she was well-behaved and remained in the tall grass near the lot.
While I was inside the store, a man pulled up with smoke rolling out of his car. He approached my friend, questioned why he was there, and then told him to leave—without first asking or offering clarification. When the man came inside the dispensary and asked if the truck outside was mine, I explained that my vehicle wouldn’t fit in the lot unless I took up both handicap spaces. He responded rudely, saying he didn’t care and that I needed to move it immediately.
While the budtender was trying to complete my transaction, this same individual raised his voice, demanded I move the vehicle, and said my friend and his service dog weren’t allowed on the property. I complied and moved the vehicle, taking up several front spaces as instructed. When I returned to speak to a manager, I was shocked to learn the aggressive individual was the manager (Jaime). I asked him for his managers contact information and he refused so I calmly explained that I felt his behavior was inappropriate and mentioned I may leave a review. He then told me to leave the business entirely.
The lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic customer service for the handicapped was truly disappointing—especially for the Emerald Triangle Super Store. My friend and I won’t be returning, and I hope this review encourages better training and treatment of customers...
Read more1st off not very happy that they already have everything all weighed up so half the time you're getting some dried out Bud 2nd off they gave me the wrong kind of weed for the 2nd time but they couldn't take it back because I already went outside the store it wasn't my mess up I told you what I wanted you gave me the wrong 8th that's their fault so definitely not very pleased don't very pleased don't think I'll be back for a while they could careless about there mess up. I'm editing this now 9 months later and they have pretty much the same weed as 9 months ago. I came in with my temporary medical card and a little emo girl disrespectfully refused and was making gestures and rude remarks to me out the door. Never good weed. Never good service. Yeah, again, I go back. That's that we crossed the imaginary line. They have an autistic guy named John working, and he gets all power tripping over crossing, imagine line. Dude, I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you, do you not care? I'm like, dude. I already heard you like. What do you want me to say? I said, okay, I acknowledge you. It's just not that big of a deal you're blowing out of proportion. You could just leave, you could just leave. It's like, well, whatever you're autistic, you're power tripping, and the i see that they started doing the weed different from last time I was in there, and it's not all pretty weighed, and that's drawing nasty, though. So maybe that's a bonus, I don't know, cause I don't think I'll...
Read moreFirst, it is impossible to find the right product because certain budtenders make you feel rushed. They just want to get customers in and out and show zero care to the people who have questions. Second, my husband has a small coner of his ID missing. No missing wording or anything, just the tip where normal wear and tear happens from pulling out the ID to show people. The woman up front was completely rude and unprofessional saying it was invalid even when her coworker pointed out that no information or marks were missing and that it was indeed valid. But apparently she can say whether or not she wants to accept it and a manager wasn't available, which was when the reasonable and very helpful coworker came up. We are VIP members and there regularly and never once have we had this issues with anyone except for her. There is no point in paying to replace it when the DMV still considers it valid. If this happens again we will completely stop shopping there and stick to A Better Way. At least their budtenders know what a valid license is and take the time to help their customers instead of making them...
