We started with a cold brew — bold, smooth, and refreshingly served over perfectly clear ice cubes (a detail that speaks volumes). The smoothies are equally amazing, especially the berry banana one, which tasted like it had just been blended from fruit picked that morning.

Now onto the Benedicts, which are the crown jewels of this place. You’ll find several unique spins on the classic, but the Duck Benedict is a must-try. We decided to pop in here for a sunday breakfast plate, possibly call it a brunch. We waited about 30 minutes for a table which we did not think was bad for a Sunday late sunday morning. We started out with the gooey goose bread. I'd like to say I loved it but I didn't. It was a little bit of a letdown, but but the bread was homemade artisan bread, so there was a plus in that. My husband ordered the poutine breakfast and I ordered the belgian waffle with pecan bourbon sauce. The food came out hot and freaking delicious. I was diving into my husband's dish before I even got into my own. The pecan bourbon glaze on the belgian waffle was wonderful, lots of pecans and a wonderful, warm bourbon flavor without the boozy kick. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was as sweet as could be and very attentive. And we appreciated the atmosphere, but I had to knock it down 24 stars instead of 54 an overall rating, because the building is so loud. It's all hard surfaces inside there. And there is no sound buffering on the walls. Whatsoever, so all you heard was a menagerie of conversations and the music playing above. Outside of that, I enjoyed every moment of the experience. The food was excellent service was great. The drinks were wonderful and don't get me started about those specialty coffees they have. I was so tempted, but I was the driver so I couldn't have one but next time.My husband's driving so I can have several. Overall, we recommend this place.
