Delivery is usually rocking, but not today. I’ll usually give a little slack when the order’s not right but I think you would want to know how your food is being represented.
I ordered my favorite, the Farmhouse Hash. Maybe I’m being picky but I’m only comparing it to the same meals I’ve had before, which were excellent. First, either Avocado’s have shrunk to the size of a Kumquat or the cook could care less about what this meal would taste like. I got 4 pieces of avocado about an inch big. And they still had the peel on them. Second, I ordered Sour Dough as opposed to wheat because of nutrition guidelines I have to keep. I got wheat anyway, which was very tempting. My eggs were fried, not basted. I got cheddar cheese instead of goat cheese. We also received smucker’s packets instead of the home made jam, that we expected. So it just boils down to the quality for the price. I basically paid $30 for my meal. I don’t mind paying restaurant prices but I also expect better than fast-food.
One more thing I would like your business to think about. I am a disabled, immune-compromised customer. I order delivery more than the average customer for health reasons. I don’t appreciate the lack of consideration from your kitchen staff. Just because I’m not there to ask the server to correct my order, does not mean it’s ok to slack off on your duties. It more than likely was oversight but still, I felt you needed to know what was going on. I do hesitate now, ti order from First Watch. I’m just not sure I’ll get...
Read moreToday was my first experience ever at any First Watch location. Myself and my two small children went to enjoy brunch. As I and walking in holding both my kids hands, the hostess rushes from the back of the restaurant to the door asking me “Do you not have a mask?” I look around and no one else is wearing a mask in the restaurant, because how are you to eat with wearing a mask. I stayed to her “I have one in the car I just forgot” she proceeds to tell me that she cannot seat me and I have to have one to walk to the table, or walk to the bathroom etc. COVID 19 does not pick which table to go to, which restaurant to be at, what time to come out .... I understand the rules of Covid 19. Although, I do not understand why you’re allowed to remove your mask at the table to eat but I couldn’t walk 10 feet to my table without one. I walked back to the car to get my mask only because my child wanted to eat there. Had my child not cared if we didn’t eat there I probably would’ve never set foot again in any first watch. Just because of the tone the woman used and the way I was spoken to.
The food was okay and we enjoyed a meal. But I’m not sure if I’ll be back. People are people but if I’m making a decision to go enjoy a meal with my children.... I don’t understand the difference of me wearing a mask to walk 10 feet and then removing it at...
Read moreI had a horrible dining experience at First Watch Fountain City this morning. Restaurant very cold and asked Samantha, our waitress, to turn down cold air. She said she had been changing back and forth due to her staff being hot and customers being cold and her electric bill would be expensive this month. No change. My guest went to her car to get her coat. When our food arrived cold I asked again if cold air blowing on me could be turned down. I was told we were welcome to move to another area of restaurant. Pancake so cold butter wouldn't melt on top of it. We waited several minutes after receiving our food and when Samantha was bussing another table we asked for syrup. I had to ask twice for a refill of my drink. Then, halfway through her pancake my guest found a HAIR in her pancake. We called Samantha over and showed it to her. She said she would fix our bill and talk to her prep team about the hair. She did take off my friend's order from the receipt but charged me for mine. Really?? The cafe was half empty at 10:45 this morning, so it was not a hectic day. Poor Samantha when busy time does hit!! She won't be able to handle it!! Happy to have had wonderful experiences at your Farragut and Bearden Hill location. Will not be back to Fountain City and will not recommend it to my friends that live in that...
