Firehouse Subs Fountain City — Restaurant in Knoxville

Place an online pickup for lunch break. Placed order for 10:30am pick up at 9:20am. Walked in at about 10:35am was greeted at register explaining I was there for a pick up. I walk over to the designated area for pickups. At about 10:40am hadn’t been addressed again. I ask the person making sandwiches if they had my order. Other sandwich maker chimes in and says it’s not due till 11:45am. I explain I selected 10:30am and tried to show receipt but was told they would get on it in a minute. At 10:50am now aggravated I ask again if they have my order they again say it wasn’t due till. I then show the receipt showing 10:30am pick up. Shift lead/register then interjecting that I should have let them know I had a pickup. This was the third time I said I had pickup and she was the first one I stated this too. Had to be back at work at 11am. I would of been out faster just walking in...

I had an order that was done incorrectly and I called in to tell them about it. It was a large order and I spent a good bit of money. The customer service that I got from the employee that took my order called me back to argue with over the order. Money was not the issue, it was the customer service and also the lack of trust. I know there are alot of people that would lie to get a refund or free food. But I am not one of them. When I went back I was glad to see a different face to get a replacement order, not only was the order done correct but the service was amazing. I am so glad that they turned that situation around. I LOVE firehouse subs anyway any day of the week. Especially since they will still sell me a veggie sub even though its not on the menu. But this particular day was even better. On 6-29-23 at 7:15pm i just got back from a 12 hour drive split into 2 days with a crying baby and dead stop traffic for the last 3 hours and didnt have any food at home so decided on firehouse. The crew on staff was running like a well oiled machine and it was the best thing about my chaotic day. And the cashier (didnt catch his name, im so exhausted) was exceptionally polite and professional and EFFICIENT!!!! Give him a raise. Haha. The girl who gave me my food was also very polite. Not as common in the food industry as it used to be unfortunately so it was very appreciated...
