Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Knoxville

I came in the drive through to place an order and waited at the speaker for about 4 min. No one said anything to me. I pull up to the window to give my order and there was another vehicle there. The vehicle gets their order and I pull forward and wait another 4-5 minutes before the young lady came to the window. She said “she told me to hold on” but me or my daughter did not hear anything, I even said hello and it must be broken, that’s why we pulled to the window. She proceeded to tell me that she was not going to take my order because she can’t take orders at the window. Two other vehicles has placed their order and now are behind me in the line. So because she had an attitude, I told the lady I was not moving until my order was taken. She completely walked away from the window and I never seen her again.

Another 10 minutes has passed and not even the manager has came to the window to triage the situation and they all just ignored me! Instead of taking my order they decided to use the back door for the vehicles behind me to complete their order transaction. So we decided to leave after we felt that we were discriminated against by staff! After we left, I called the store and the manager answered the phone. I asked her was the GM available and she said he is out but works days and will be back on Tuesday. I told her thank you and let her know that I was the guy in the drive through they refused service to and then I hung up. So instead of having a something quick for dinner me, my 16 year old and 3 year old decided to go find food elsewhere. Im curious to know how they treat people with a disability that are hard of hearing or deaf? Is this the culture of this establishment or is this a reflection...

Clinton Hwy Location

I placed my online order to be picked up in the drive thru. When I arrived there was one car ahead of me waiting to place their order. We sat there for over 10 minutes and the car ahead of me left. I pull up and wait for over 15 minutes, saying hello twice. I pull up to the window and wait another 10 minutes while a young boy with his hoodie over his head is making sandwiches and glancing my way. I give up and go inside and stand in line. When I am finally waited on I tell the young lady I have an online order and she finds my order and then tells me they do not have any regular bread only wheat. I said that's find not knowing the bread is full of nuts and I can't eat it. Finally get my food and make it back to work with only 10 minutes left to eat (out of a one hour lunch break) to open my sandwich and see all of the nuts. This was the slowest and worst experience. both of the individuals working completely ignored everyone in the drive thru. If they are not going to answer when someone pulls up they need to put a sign out saying such so people can go inside instead of driving off as 5 cars did while I was waiting before going inside. I loved this place til about 5 min ago... I order for work and for home weekly bc service is always amazing as is the sandwich.... Well my housekeeper is an idian man who asked about a good vegitarian sandwich around here... I called JJ on clinton hwy and had ordered his sandwich. He did not have a tip (which I didnt know prior to ordering) so I offered the delivery girl resaurant vouchers (whcihc would have given her a free meal in return for delievring his) and she replied "I dont go out to eat unless I hava tip." I feel like she was being snarky in regards to the housekeeper not tipping. I tip everytime. I understnad the customer service here is laid back, but it should AWALAYS be professional, soooo if you as a person can't accept a kind gesture bc its not the monetary jesture you wanted, then stop working in customer service and find something you enjoy, bc unfortunately there are people out there (like my housekeeper) who do not understand american culture and tipping and that is just pert of it. I am not tipped everytime either, but EVERYTIME the guest recieves the same pleasant and full focused attention any tipper would.
