Jupiter's Juice & Smoothies — Restaurant in Knoxville

Was curious about this new shop that took over the former Juice Bar. I have to say my first impression was that the signage is very hard to read from the road. I had to pull over the other day to see what it said, so if you weren’t looking for juice Bar like I was, I would’ve probably driven right past. The inside is cute & basically looks the exact same, with the addition of some planetary/buddah decor. Staff was friendly & welcoming. I ordered the Matcha Moon & it was delicious! However they need photos of the smoothies in store so you understand the drink is supposed to look like a planet and don’t think they forgot to mix it (figured this out after going to the website).

My biggest grief is the prices, but I guess thats what you pay for local and organic. They are similar, if not the same as Juice Bar: $10 for a small smoothie & $7 for a cookie. I mentioned that $7 was a bit pricy for a cookie, and the cashier said it was because it was gluten free. I used to work at Free Reign Bakery & have had cookies from Benefit Your Life, and i’m pretty sure neither of them sell a cookie over $5. Additionally, the cookie was pretty flavorless, it needs salt and it would be much better ( just as a suggestion).

The smoothies….. out of this world! Just now I’m realizing the pun because it has a very unique Space theme and as an artist I absolutely adore the logo! The ones that I got were the Spooky Smoothie in the 16 oz and I can’t remember the name of it But it was Strawberry and Banana with Coconut Cream, they were both 10/10 will definitely be back again. Astronomically better than the juice bar business that was previously located here. A menu that is out of this world with down to Earth prices! The place is still ran by the same kind managers that were running the franchise before for those returning customers. A new small business that deserve much love and support.
