As you can see by the ticket in the attached picture, I ordered the Steak and Gorgonzola salad without the Gorgonzola or the Red onions and asked for cucumbers and black olives instead. They were actually options that I was given while ordering online. If you look closely at my salad in the second picture, you will notice that they ended up giving me the Gorgonzola and Red Onions and Did Not give me the cucumbers or black olives.
The hilarious part is that they repeated my order back to me when I picked it up and had it perfectly correct, but whoever made my order apparently didn't even look at the flipping ticket, and I didn't find out until I got home about 20 minutes later.
This was Friday April 1st around 7:15 p.m. and whoever made my salad needs to learn how to read the ticket of the order that they are preparing. Not everyone can handle blue cheese or red onions, so I ended up having to throw the entire salad in the trash after taking this picture.
Also when they were reading my order back to me they mentioned that I had put no pickles with our sandwiches, but I had never said no pickles, in fact I wanted the pickles but never saw any mentioning of them anywhere.
So the fact that the ticket said that I said no pickles, I feel like that's something that the online ordering system automatically throws in there so they can make people ask for them instead of just giving them with the order that they come with, so if you want your pickles you need to type that in the special instructions so you can make sure you get your pickles. Honestly kinda ridiculous, I mean seriously who doesn't like the pickle spear that comes with...
Read moreI live in Fountain City. I eat at McAllisterâs a lot, and we order online and pick up also in the drive thru.
Thursday night .. March 5, 2019 I had a problem with the app ..it told me something was not available. The app would not show me anywhere what was not available at the fountain city store that I was ordering, and I was ordering simple food. The app told me to call the store ....so I called the store and got transferred to some call center that sounded like the Philippines. The guy didnât even know you sold baked potatoes. I said I wanted a spud max and he said what is that.
Then I wanted to pay with my card because my son was picking up everything.
I was on hold for 20 minutes when the lady came on the phone and was not very nice.
She said she was at Fountain City Store that all the calls to her store go into a call center .....really you canât even call the store and talk to anyone there .....that is insanity..
I am not happy at all. We ended up eating at a Firehouse Sub. My son had to come home and get cash and then go back out.
I am fine if technology doesnât work .. but when technology tells me to call the store and I get the Philippines or some guy that doesnât know you so sell baked potatoes I have an issue with that.
Very frustrated that I cannot talk to the store on Tazewell Pike in my back door... in Knoxville,TN in the USA.
This is the United States and we should not be talking to the Philippines about pick two and a sandwich with chips.

Read moreIf I ever decide to go back to McAlisters it will not be to the one on Tazewell Pike in Ftn City. I stood at the counter for 3-4 minutes waiting on someone to acknowledge me. I finally asked if someone was going to take my order after they spoke to the guy behind me in line. I ordered a spud to go. Bacon, cheese and chives. Butter and sour cream. As the cashier is attempting to put in my order they handed the guy who has been sitting on the bench the entire time I was there his order. He asks for crackers for his soup and you would have thought he asked for million dollars. Then he checks his food stating there is a problem. There were cucumbers on the sandwich and he is highly allergic. They ask him if they can just remove them. He says no. Then back to drama because they have to make a new sandwich. Needless to say I get my spud rather quickly only to get home to find it dried out and with red onion on it. Something like this happens every time I am at this location. $15 for a horrible spud and...
