Taqueria La Herradura Food Truck — Restaurant in Knoxville

I've only eaten here once and it was wonderful. It's more traditional, not like the Americanized Mexican food smothered in queso you can get from other places.

I had the taco plate with spicy pork. I loved it, the flavor of the meat was amazing...it came with Spanish rice and something else that I can't remember right now.

The meat had onions and chunks of pineapple mixed in and I loved it. It also came with two little sauce cups with red and green salsa. They both tasted great and I put them both on the whole plate.

I will definitely be back, I want to try everything else...

This taqueria truck is consistently churning out affordable, fresh, tacos. I was skeptical to find an authentic taco as good as what I was used to getting in Nashville, but the good people at this truck nailed it! I had been to the brick and mortar location and was not impressed from what I remember and neither was my husband, but the truck is better and our favorite spot for a quick bite! I’m there every week. Recommended: asada or barbacoa tacos or mulitas . *Plus they are friendly and very fast!

The best tacos in Knoxville! It is closest to the cart tacos I had in Alcapulco when I visited as a child. They are a little on the smaller side (true street tacos), but they are PACKED with flavor and protein. Price is hard to beat(2.29$ ea), especially when other restaurants in town skimp on the meat and flavor but charge 4-7$ a taco. Don't skip this hidden gem (I have for 4 years until today, I regret never coming sooner). I will not go anywhere else for my taco craving...
