We walked in and immediately got seated which is great. But the host just walked us to the table, set the menus down, and walked away. Didn't say a word or anything. The table he sat us at was in direct sunlight with the door to the patio and we had to ask a server if we could sit somewhere else. Our server was good. Brought the drinks quickly. But The Horchata was very watered down. Then my toddler accidentally spilled his drink on the floor, we informed the server as soon as it happened, but it was never even attempted to be cleaned up. At least towels could have been thrown down. But nothing. When we ordered the food it came out quick. And I mean like less than 5 mins. Which usually is good except that it calls for concern when you order a Molcajete with 3 meats, steak tacos and two chicken and cheese quesadillas. Both quesadillas were only cheese, one of which the cheese wasn't even melted and the tortilla was cold. The other was cooked right but still no chicken. It was fixed right and back out quickly. No big deal on that. But the chicken was very dry and tasted as if it has been cooked early that day and set in a warmer. Then we were missing the tortillas for the molcajete, which my Mexican husband wasn't happy about and we had to wait a little while to even see the server to get that. All in all I dont think we'll be back. The food was mediocre, but the all around service definitely could have...

The worse service ever. The waitress was rude and couldn't understand English. We had to repeat ourselves 4 times just for simply margaritas. Finally I asked for the manager. He came we asked for a different table so we could get a different waitress. She was rude and short. I order a frozen strawberry margarita, She bought it out watery. I asked if she could take it back, and get me a regular one without the strawberry flavoring, she told me to wait and went and waited on another table. I waited 15 mins on the drinks, I finally got up and went to the bar to get my own drink. And the bartender asked me who was my waitress I said she don't want to be bothered. He said well I can't help u. So I went and sat with my guess. And ask to speak with the manager and he was rude and short and didn't care if we was there or not. Rudest services ever and this was the Broadway location. And as well sit here they have 4 families who has been waiting since I walked in the door to check out and they still haven't acknowledge them. They in a bad mood in here. But yet they want ur money. Please don't come to the Broadway location they Disrespectful and rude. Never will I drop a dime in Here Ever again. And this lady still haven't came back to the table.and we been...

First off, the margarita was good. I'll take that as a win ( that's the first star). However, meh on the food. I ordered a #22. Asked for need on the burrito with the cheese sauce, no red sauce. Subbed the borracho beans for the rice. The entire thing came out with a layer of cheese on it. Underneath the cheese was a flour tortilla with ground beef (burrito, which my daughter inhaled, second star) and a corn tortilla with beef (what they call an enchilada and a thick corn meal something or another with a few pieces of chicken here and there (I think it was supposed to be a tamale). All with a thin layer of their cheese on it. The borracho beans had hot dog bits in it. It took the server at least 10 minutes to come back to the table after our food had been dropped. When I started to ask what was going on with what was on my plate, she walked away mids. The manager came over about 5 minutes later and asked if he could bring me a cheese enchilada. I had lost my appetite by then I said no thank you. I cleaned up after my daughter stacked the plates, and the server came over and asked if I wanted it to go box. Um, No. At no point was I offered a comp. Up until tonight, I have had a good experience with this restaurant. However, I will not...

This was my first time here.. definitely not my last! The chips & salsa were delicious! The chips were fresh, thin, crispy & very good. The salsa was spot on! Not too spicy or bland. My daughter & I each ordered the Burrito Texano One XXL.. it’s a burrito stuffed with fajita-style steak, chicken and shrimp, Mexican rice and refried beans. Topped with cheese sauce and served with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream - $14.99. This burrito was massive! I got mine without peppers. It could have used a little more queso on top, so we ordered a little bowl of queso to add to it & was perfect! The steak was a little tough but the chicken & shrimp were cooked perfectly. My daughter n law ordered the Burrito Don Lupe which comes with two large burritos with steak or grilled chicken. Topped with white cheese sauce - $10.99 She ordered hers with chicken & she loved it! She also got a side of the refried beans & rice. We also ordered a strawberry piña colada. They are in NO way stingy with the alcohol! It was a very delicious drink.

We arrived at lunch. The salsa was delicious. I ordered Sweet tea. It was good. I also ordered the Quesadilla Rellena. The Mexican rice had a slight taste but still bland (are all Mexican rice tasteless?). I've had better quacamole. It was a bit bitter like it had too much lime. The lettuce didn't taste good though. They put the refried beans in the quesadilla. It was new to me since refried beans have always been served on the exterior. The quesadilla or shredded chicken itself tasted watered down so I had to put salsa in it for it to taste good. And I did not see cheese. It must have been cooked into the shredded chicken. The sour cream had a slightly gritty texture to it. The service was slow. I had finished my sweet tea and been eating for the past 15 minutes and still did not get a refill. Will we be coming back? I don't think so! The salsa was the highlight of the meal. It was a pleasant experience though but this is not my place of choice for Mexican food.

Pro: * Atmosphere was inviting and a place where people can hang out. * Cost of food was very reasonable Con: * Service was slow starting with waiting over 15 minutes after being sitted to order. To be fair, this was just our waiter because the table next to us had a different waiter who was tentative and interacted with the guests. * Food was cheap in cost, but so was the taste. It was basically taking average Mexican food and pouring tomato sauce over the top. Overall: If you are looking for a taco bell with an inviting atmosphere, Tequila Amigos is that place. A chef change would have a tremendous impact on this location.
