Are you kidding me? Wow! I can't believe how good my burger was! This is the real deal and South Knoxville is lucky to have a place like this. Tell everyone you know so that this is a successful business because the food is amazing. The french fries were equally as good as the burger. But the best part was that they had a gluten-free bun and I was able to eat a cheeseburger the first time in a long time. Thank you! Thank you for making that possible. Also The sweet tea was so good. I wanted to take some home in a gallon jug. Which is definitely something they should consider offering. The smashburger sauce was so good. I got the definitely not kosher and a side of french fries. They also have a chicken sandwich which I would like to try soon and a Nashville Hot Chicken. They have a portobello mushroom burger. Make sure you don't just get portobello mushrooms though because it's hard to eat. They have a portobello with a burger Patty on it which is wonderful. The strawberry salad with chicken on it was terrific! With housemade dressing! I was very impressed with the people that worked there as well. They were super nice and helpful. This is a quality restaurant and a great time if you're on a date and want a great cheeseburger. I like to sit outside when it's warm at this place. No cushy seats but there's an extra room on the side of this place if you want to have a party... It seems like they could accommodate a large group. The only thing they need now is a couple of pinball machines and this place would be perfect...
Read moreI don't usually post things like this, but I feel like it's important to share my recent experience. I visitSevier Ave Burger Co.Co. as a paying customer, simply trying to enjoy a meal and support a local business. Unfortunately, I was treated with complete disrespect by an employee(manager) named Holly. All I did was politely ask for the bill and then Holly started talking to me-and out of nowhere, she began verbally harassing me. Holly told me that she was very drunk, on the job. She was kind at first until I told her what I did for work. I told her that I work in sales and she proceded to yell in the restaurant "you like to scam people for a living" and "youre just so pretty you can sell anything. She cursed at me and insulted me personally for what I do for a living. I was stunned. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially not while dining out and minding their own business. I'm truly disappointed and hope the management takes this seriously. Customers should never be subject to verbal abuse, no matter the situation. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior. Sevier Ave Burger Company, please do better. Your staff reflects your values, and this kind of treatment is...
Read moreMe, my husband, and my son have always loved coming here—nothing fancy, just a low-key spot to grab some burgers for us and chicken tenders for the little man. The staff has always been great, and we’ve always felt welcome. Seriously, thank you for that. But today? Different story. The guy who took our order seemed friendly at first, but then something shifted. Not sure if it was my accent or the fact that I dared to order just water. Whatever it was, I clearly disappointed him. Sorry, man—too early for beer, and soda isn’t exactly a refreshing, hydrating choice. Water’s actually pretty solid, you should try it sometime. Oh, and when I ordered The Patriot Burger, I must’ve butchered the pronunciation because he made sure to repeat it back flawlessly, just to drive the point home. Thanks for the lesson—English is my second language. But hey, speaking multiple languages (even imperfectly) still beats being rude in just one. Anyway, I canceled my meal. Didn’t want to ruin someone’s day just by existing, speaking with an accent, and drinking the world’s most neutral beverage. My bad for showing up. But hey, he’s not a bad guy—he was perfectly nice to the...
