I love Starbucks. I always have. However, this location is EXTREMELY slow. I understand this is a very fast-paced and difficult job, especially during the busy times of the day, but even when there are no cars in the drive-thru, it takes SO long to get my order. I always order ahead to save time but that is pointless with this location. It takes the same amount of time to order when you are there, inside or in the drive-thru. Several times I have seen employees standing together talking or on their phones when they are slow. Get on your phone at work, who cares? Everyone has a life. But TAKE CARE OF ALL CUSTOMERS FIRST. There are also times when I order ahead and I get to the drive-thru, most of the time with hardly any cars in line, and I am handed my drink and it is melted. I have no idea why it takes so long to hand me my drink if it is so slow and if it’s already made, which is obviously has been if it’s melted. Again, I understand it can get very busy, but there has to be a better way to organize a team that is able to take and make orders efficiently and in a timely manner. I don’t know if it’s lack of training or if they are under-staffed. Other locations are great so it’s obviously not a company wide-issue with organization or training. Several vehicles, including us waited in line for a bit to order. They started to drive off and we thought maybe one person was working and doing one order at a time so we waited at the drive through. After a few minutes of no answer, we pulled to the window just to see if they didn't hear the alarm for the drive through. An employee with shoulder length blonde hair and glasses proceeded to look at us a few times. So then we pulled around to go inside where three total employees were just standing there and told us you all aren't even open. Definitely not trying to sound entitled but as someone who treats themselves occasionally before a long shift, it would have been nice to have a treat. Y'all are lucky to have him . We pass thru here often traveling. . Finally found our go-to spot ! Genuine, kindhearted people are hard to find , let alone employee! Usually its back at home , but i have stared every day with a starbucks for the last 7+ years , ive met alot of wonderful starbucks employees, never have I left a review , however, today just felt different!
