What a disaster and embarrassing experience we had while we were celebrating our son's bday with our family at this location. We opted to meet our family here (group of 9) for a birthday dinner instead of having a traditional party somewhere else. I called ahead to make sure they had space for us and gave them our arrival time. We got there and had to wait on the side for a few mins and then I was asked if we were ok being split up into 2 booths that were kind of angled across from eachother. They still needed to be cleaned and it would take another 10-15 mins, so I said ok so our family wouldn't have to keep waiting. After verifying my phone number twice to be contacted when our tables were ready, they called the wrong number and we were left waiting outside for 20 mins before my husband went in to ask what was going on. When we got back inside, we were asked to wait again next to the wall. We finally got to our tables and once we were seated, we realized that we were not at all "close" to our other group. We could see them but there was no way we could talk. I noticed 2 other tables that were back to back open and asked if we could switch and we were told no, that they were already there for another group that hasn't been seated back there yet?? I don't know why we couldn't have just switched back there while they just rewiped our table for the others since we hadn't gotten food yet. So we spent the entire dinner split up from our other group. Now let's talk about service.... Apparently we had 2 servers also, one that helped my table and another that helped the other table but that was not explained to us until I asked why our food was ordered while the other table was left waiting atleast 5-10 mins before the other table was taken care of. I had to go back up to the front and ask for kids menus, more bread (considering we were brough 4 TINY rolls for the table I was sitting at with 6 people).... I got the menus, but the girl at the front who was walking people to their seats told us, she would bring us some and she never did. So we asked our waitress and she later on did. One of my family members asked for more butter for her food and that was never brought to us. By the time our waitress came back, she already finished her meal. We got our food before our other group did so they were there waiting while we had ours. One family member's food was entirely cold. The food I had was good, and cooked how I wanted it. The entire experience was ridiculous and we ended up only being able to spend maybe 10 mins outside with the rest of our party before they had to leave to go home. I did appreciate them doing the birthday "yee haw" for my son but they also shined the light right on his face so that was distracting to him. Maybe skip that step on the smaller kids. If you have a larger group that is meeting at this location DO NOT GO!! We were here for a total of 2 hours from the time we got there and then left and was only able to spend time with our family if I got up and walked over to their table....
Read moreMy husband and I went to one of our favOrite Texas Roadhouse locations to celebrate my birthday tonight. Our menus were greasy from the guests that sat at our table before us. We ordered water with lemon initially while we looked at the bar menu. We did not get lemon with our waters. I ordered a specialty drink and appetizer upon our servers return. The bread was served without any silverware on our table. My husband ordered Salmon. I ordered country fried steak, not what I typically order, but it sounded good. The salmon was over done and quite dry. I had asked for butter, sour cream, and chives for my mashed potato instead of gravy. My potatoes came plain and we’re sitting out of my reach. I did not care for my dinner, steak was too chewy. Two friends joined us bearing birthday gifts, ordered drinks and food. The server never took our dirty chili bowl, salad plate, bread plates, or appetizer off the table when our meals1 arrived, making the table very cluttered with dirty dishes while we ate. Our server never asked if we wanted a refill on our soda that sat empty half way through our meal, nor were we offered another drink from the bar. We were not asked if we wanted one or two checks, our friends were not offered anything additional, nor were we offered dessert. The server knew it was my birthday, because she checked my ID. In addition, we were never told that we had to pay our bill on the kiosk at the table. We sat for quite a long time before I realized that I had to pay in that manner when I first logged into the kiosk to pay our bill there were two checks. Ours in our friends check was on a separate bill then the program froze up and wouldn’t let us pay. The kiosk read that a change was made to our check, try back in a few minutes. Then the check was combined to one check. I swiped my gift card, which automatically used the money left on my card for a tips, of 20% of the bill. I explained that I was not going to put the tip on my card, we would leave cash. The manager was unable to credit our bill for the tip, and we paid the remaining balance with a credit card. So disappointed. Even after telling the manager that we were surprised about how poor the service was, he offered nothing to make the...
Read moreMy family and a few friends went tonight to eat for my son‘s ninth birthday. It was the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. We had 10 people in our party. We were sitting at a table across from each other, which was fine with us! We ordered two appetizers and only received one, when I asked the manager about my second appetizer she got real hateful an snappy and said i’ll have to look and see what happened I never heard anything back from her about my appetizers. We had to get our own drinks in our own bread for our table While walking to the kitchen and asking someone to refill our drinks and to get us some bread! When my table finally received our food, our steaks were rare we ordered a medium and medium well when we asked our waiter about them, she said well you’ll have to wait for a manager so we waited about 15 minutes. The manager Rachel finally came to our table as she’s talking to us rolling her eyes saying well how did you order your steaks after we explained how we ordered them, she said well I have to see what I can do she took the steaks back to the kitchen and we waited about 30 minutes and everyone else in our party was done eating so we asked our steaks to be put to go boxes since everyone else was already done eating after waiting for another 20 minutes i finally just asked for the steaks to be taken off of our ticket. As we were going out to leave, a lady had brought our food out for the to go and the manager Rachel came up And said if you received your ribeyes, I’ll just take those Like we were trying to get the steaks taken off and trying to keep the steaks she snatched them out of my hand and rode her eyes and walked away. She was very unprofessional very rude and all the Waiter wanted to keep saying was we had 33 or four kitchen staff call out today we had three waiters who called out today. We’re just very short staffed. I completely understand being shortstaffed, but the treatment we received no one should ever receive. Not to mention, it was my son‘s ninth birthday and they couldn’t even sing happy birthday to him after asking...
