Tucked in off a stretch of Broadway, is an oasis of herbal remedies and rest. Stepping into Tonya Rea's Tea is like visiting that Auntie you only see at the holidays. ((And this day I actually go to meet her!) The space is immediately inviting and warm with rooms nestled off the main area, as the building was once a residence in another life. If you're looking for a healthy herbal infusion or just to sip on a comfort tea, this is the spot for you. There's no competing music piped in, only the quiet murmur of conversations in other rooms. Prices are nice, for what you get. I love how you can pick your own mug (three different sizes) for your drink, and one for iced or hot. As the season changes, there are small offerings to eat like, soups or casseroles. But, this is the spot for teas and herbal remedies first and foremost. So, stop by Auntie Tonya Rea's for a healing sip. You'll be back sooner than the holidays.

Yesterday was my first time at Tonya Rea's and it did not disappoint!! Above and beyond service, charm, atmosphere, and especially drinks! I met a friend there to have tea with her and we stayed for 3 hours!!! I had the spiced mushroom hot chocolate and it was hands down the best spiced hot chocolate I have ever had! Creamy, smooth, and oh so chocolatey!!! If it had been set down in front of me without telling me it contained mushrooms I would have never known! Before leaving I purchased a few of the samples to try at home. I will absolutely be coming back to buy more mushroom hot chocolate! You won't regret giving this place a try and you will even wonder why you waited so long to try it!

This is the cutest little shop! They have prepared tea in many varieties as well as tea blends and other small gifts for sale in the shop. If you want a place to sit for a spell, relaxing vibes and the retro furniture make the place cozy and welcoming. I ordered a chai tea latte with a drop of maple syrup, which was creamy and spicy-not too sweet. It paired well with a warmed piece of banana coffee cake. I plan to return whenever i can! PS- don’t be scared to come by if you are a coffee lover or with one- they have espresso options and can add espresso to most of their drinks!

Tonya Rea's Herbal Tea Shop is a gem of a place! The Gut Soothing Tea is incredible - it's both delicious and calming on the stomach. We highly recommend trying it, along with any of their other blends. The tea is high-quality, and you can taste the care that goes into crafting each cup. The atmosphere of the shop is welcoming and homey, making it the perfect place to unwind with a hot cup of tea. They also support local artists with their art wall that are available for purchase. #spreadthelove You can tell they truly love what they do and want to share their passion for herbal tea with others. If you're a fan of tea or looking to try something new, I highly recommend stopping by Tonya Rea's Herbal Tea Shop. You won't be...
