Omeletty's — Restaurant in Kokomo

We moved to Kokomo August of 21 and found Omelettys. We enjoyed the food and ordered take out frequently due to Covid. Well today the experience was very disappointing. Ordered 3 meals an omelet with southern potatoes, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast baked potato. When I got home with the order there was a burrito instead of a breakfast baked potato and the potatoes were just regular hash browns with the omelet. I called Omelettys and informed them of the error and was told to bring the order back in exchange for the original order. I was Ok with that even though I live 15 minutes from Omelettys. When I arrived back at the drive thru to exchange what i was given for the correct order the lady at window started arguing with me about part of the order being correct. She wanted fix the wrong potatoes and make the breakfast baked potato. I said I was told to bring the order back to exchange. They did not have the correct original order ready. I was told to go park in the lot and wait for the order to be ready. That is when I told the manager to just give me my money back as I had already spent 15 minutes driving to pick up the wrong order, 15 more minutes to drive back home, another 15 minutes driving back to exchange the order and now they want me to wait however long it takes to make the new order and drive another 15 minutes back home where i have guests waiting for their meals. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY or even an incentive for THEIR mistake. Most disappointing. BYE...

WARNING ⚠️ If you want to be continually harassed as to whether or not you are going to leave a tip this is your place. I grew up and continued to work in restaurant service all my life. Later in management and then ownership. Up until recently, if you uttered the words "are you going to leave a tip" or "do you want to leave a tip" you would have been fired! You earn tips by giving great service. The owners obviously encourage this even at the pickup window they WILL harass you for a tip. There's no doubt the owners know all about this and wholeheartedly encourage it. This place is only busy because it's one of the only places in town where you can get breakfast. The food's not bad but if you're getting it to go be warned also that you better check your order before you leave that window. Because out of the seven or eight times that I've went through that window, YES I'M A SLOW LEARNER, the order is almost always wrong when I get home. And they are extremely expensive! All of this is called intimidation. I don't tip at drive up windows and I don't tip if you even act like you're going to ask me for a tip. I decide if you are worthy of a tip or not. And if you tell them you're not leaving a tip I would not advise letting them fix your food the next time. I won't be going back. Half the time I don't get the food I...

First of all I'd like to say I've been to this place a lot and I won't go back because of this interaction it's not whether they were right or wrong it's the customer service when they made a mistake we ordered delivery food off the menu I wasn't able to be home when the delivery arrived my son got it he didn't know what came on the food it wasn't prepared correctly we both had activities he ate his and left for the day and mindset I didn't get home until 4:00 the next morning when I called and told them that they didn't prepare the food right the only offer they had to give me was to give me what was missing I told them that situation both meals were made incorrectly and they did not want to make the situation right I will not go back I've spent a lot of money there I would say somewhere in the ballpark of 500 to 1,000 a year I have a family of five and we usually go there for breakfast I will not go there anymore I will go to the Dutch Cafe it's located across from Grissom Air Force Base they I wish this business would do better the owner works there but refused to talk to me about this situation I specifically asked for him and the call was deflected...
