Title: A Stellar Ddeok-bokki Experience That Will Ignite Your Taste Buds!
(5/5 stars)
From the very moment I walked into this unassuming gem of a Korean eatery, I knew I was in for a treat. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The Ddeok-bokki they serve here is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best I have ever tasted in my life!
The moment the dish was placed before me, I was instantly mesmerized by its tantalizing aroma. The fragrance of the gochujang sauce, combined with the subtle hints of garlic and onion, wafted through the air and beckoned me to dive right in. I could hardly wait to experience this symphony of flavors.
As I took my first bite, the succulent rice cakes were the epitome of perfection. Tender and chewy, yet never losing their shape or becoming too soft, they were the ideal vehicle for the mouthwatering sauce. The gochujang sauce itself was a work of art - a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory flavors that danced on my tongue and left me craving more.
What truly set this Ddeok-bokki apart, however, were the delightful accompaniments. The delicate fish cakes, crisp vegetables, and generous slices of boiled egg all combined to create a harmony of textures and flavors that made each mouthful a brand new experience. I couldn't help but savor each bite, eager to uncover the next layer of deliciousness.
I must also commend the staff for their exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that my Ddeok-bokki experience was nothing short of perfection. Their genuine passion for Korean cuisine shone through, and it was evident that they took great pride in serving the best Ddeok-bokki in town.

They save me a drive to Koreatown when I’m craving Korean chicken. The boneless options at most places are dry or less flavorful. Not the case here! Their original fried chicken is delicious, but it is actually a bit spicy. It’s a bit more than a kick, and families may want to rethink ordering it for kids. Our three kids say it’s delicious and try to eat it but eventually give up after three glasses of milk. In conclusion…we ordered out from here about 7 times in the last three weeks....
Read moreFirst time trying them, so I got an 8-piece boneless chicken with their Secret Sauce. Each one was big, juicy and tender. The crunch was there but not too hard & crispy, it gave you the chance to enjoy the tenderness of the meat. The sauce was savory too. Sweet on the first bite, a little heat that follows, and by the time I was done with the entire portion there was a lingering Korean BBQ/garlic aftertaste that remained. Plan on being solo for awhile unless you're OK with your surroundings picking up your garlic breath! I'm impressed and will definitely come back to try their other...
