I visited this Starbucks on September 15 around 6 PM with my family, ordering seven Venti iced coffees. After 25 minutes with no updates, I asked about our order and was given seven Grande hot coffees, which were not what we ordered and we hadn’t been called.
When I pointed out the mistake, it was clear the staff had taken our order wrong. Instead of apologizing, they responded with visible frustration, claiming they made the order as received. Despite asking them to double-check, they continued to serve other customers while we waited another 10 minutes. When our order was finally ready, it was still incorrect—five Grande iced coffees and one Venti iced coffee.
The staff’s attitude was consistently rude and dismissive, and there was no manager in sight. It’s shocking that such a terrible Starbucks exists here in La Cañada. When people go to Starbucks, they pay not only for the coffee but also for the customer service. Ultimately, I had to ask if the order sitting on the counter the entire time was mine while being ignored for some reason and they confirmed it was.
