Raven’s Cup - a very distinct, creatively themed coffee shop, and formerly one of my favorite shops when I’d take a trip into La Conner. A good cup of coffee and spacious seating. Unfortunately, my opinion has changed because it convincingly appears that they may have shifted to using AI-generated art and even selling it among the works of real (living) artists. My crowd and I noticed several pieces that had AI-appearing artstyles, were selling without names/signatures attached, had very low prices compared to the pieces attributed to actual artists. It isn’t a crime to sell cheap art in your coffee shop (it’s welcome, honestly), but having a computer make it with no human effort and selling it among pieces made by real artists (who need our money and support to get by!) would be disingenuous and misleading. I’ve attached some pictures of the art that has the AI-look I’m referring to (notice the oddly smooth style, the odd misshapen raven beak/coffee mug, and the lack of artist’s name or signature on all pieces). It’s disheartening and I always enjoyed how Raven’s Cup promoted local artists’ work - if my concerns could be proven wrong, I would be happy to know I’ve been mistaken. But if not, Raven’s Cup, please do not sell AI artwork without at least informing your loyal customers (or better yet, sell art by living people instead please!)

Raven's Cup Coffee & Art Gallery is always an innovative and welcoming atmosphere - locals and tourists gather regularly to enjoy the delicious coffee and snacks along with Beautiful Art, Handmade One of a Kind Gifts and Local Talent. I had the pleasure of performing several Crystal Sound Meditations in this Wonderful Space and It was a Delight!! See You There!!!

Great atmosphere! When you walk through the doors, I was hit with a beautiful fragrance from their candles. Tons of artistic prints, candles, and home decor items to browse through. I got the pumpkin spiced latte and it was refreshing! A must visit for the art work and getting a cup of coffee. Plenty of seating and having a nice chat.

Absolutely amazing! A very fun shop filled to the brim with goodies to browse and adore. Lots and lots of local art and crafts, brewing materials from all over the world, stuffed animals, cards, literally anything. The owners and employees are kind and quick, and are more than happy to brew you a fresh cup of loose leaf tea at the perfect temperature. My tea wasn't burned or over-steeped, and was clearly made with care and appreciation for the art of brewing. I'll be coming back for more than just tea, the performing space in the new back room looks like...

There’s a wonderful variety of gifts, drinks, and treats here! The staff is friendly and always excited to try to whip up something new at my request. I’ve literally walked in and pondered “uhhh I dunno something spicy” and they totally ran with it. I’ve also gotten tons of different unique board games here that I hadn’t even heard of. All around a fun and funky place to enjoy local art, new friends, fun games, and yummy...
